The last night of our holiday so we visited the Phelips Arms for dinner. A wonderfully warm and friendly welcome and great food. Dog friendly too! Hope to see them again when we visit Montacute in the future. Would highly recommend it you are in the area.

Celebrating a birthday lunch. The place is spotlessly clean and well laid out. The food was exceptional. From gnocchi to Steak and Ale pie thete was something for everyone. The people here are extremely helpful and pleasant and we were made to feel very welcome. Can't wait to return and try other items from the menu.

I was hoping to grab a light bite or a sandwich but sadly we were unable to get any food as they were only serving meals that were priced more than £20. I visited the garden centre with my elderly relatives and had to take them elsewhere. This put a bit of a dampener on what was otherwise a lovely visit.

As far as Weatherspoons go it's fairly good, it's not like there's anywhere else to go (all the other pubs have closed even if Google says they are open) the food is good, the staff are mostly friendly and the atmosphere is ok but the lack of music is depressing

If you're hungry enough to risk your taste buds and dignity, this is the place for you—a true black hole of culinary despair. Their "chicken ball" is a cruel joke, a breadcrumb-sized ghost of chicken smothered in an impenetrable fortress of batter. It's like playing hide-and-seek with your dinner, except the chicken never comes out. The ribs are a weapon. One bite and the saltiness will scorch your tongue, leaving you parched, broken, and wondering if this is how slugs feel in their final moments. And then there's the chicken curry—a fluorescent orange abomination that’s less food and more chemistry experiment gone wrong. It tastes like sadness, regret, and powdered lies. Honestly, it would do a better job gluing your soul back together than feeding it. Eat here if you must—but know that you’ll leave emptier than when you arrived.

No idea on the food front but a pub is a pub in layman's terms. Enough said.

Really awful experience, not only was it 30 mins late.. it turned up cold. Chips were cold and stale on arrival, lasagne was awfully cheesy. Salt added to everything with no option to not have it. Garlic bread was hurrendous. Obviously frozen. Bags filled with oil. Onion rings cold, Penne pasta almost watery. Also whilst we were waiting past our delivery time we tried ringing 7 times with no answer. We have young kids waiting for their dinner.

Wah Ying House don’t cook the food there but they take orders from there but cook them in Peking House (next door) they have a little hole where they pass the orders in the other kitchen. So they take orders from 2 takeaways but the food is cooked in on takeaway. Once I’ve ordered food from them and I found hair in my food this is because they don’t wear hair nets and beard nets. This is all i had to say to them.

Ordered poached eggs. Yolks were solid, apparently they come in pre cooked. Took it back and the staff were exceptional. The young man in the kitchen fresh cooked me some proper poached eggs and the lady taking orders could not have been more helpful. You have very good staff Morrisons, don’t let bad practices stop them from delivering good food.

Always enjoy the food - it is consistent and a good selection on the menu. Their Onion Bhajis have a slight twist to the norm being Saffron infused looking at the colour and really good when hot. Nan breads are a little different to our personal travel experiences but still good. No stars for Atmosphere due to it being a takeaway but the staff are friendly and helpful.
