Avoid. Chips were stone cold and the cod was awful and grey and half the size it should be. It was long and very thin like it had been cut in half prior to preparing. Absolutely inedible and very overpriced even if it was edible. Had instant noodles instead and the takeaway went in the bin.

The food here is good, we have been a few times since we moved here, and overall we are happy with the food so far, some dishes are great, others ok.

We popped in with friends, quite late in afternoon, at the weekend. Staff were really friendly, and went out their way to make some late food to go with our coffee. Sandwiches were excellent both in quality and quantity. Oh, also, I could not resist the CHOCOLATE Fudge cake. Not sure if I should thank you for the extra âpoundsâ, but I couldnât help myself..Many Thanks

Obnoxiously loud music. Guess thatâs what happens when kids run a place. No chicken mayoâs. Cold burgers. Some rubbish sonic toy from months ago instead of the yugioh one. They never ever gave the correct toys here. Prob as the staff take them all.

First time in this pub for a few years. Always a good cheap meal to be had and nothing has changed. Pleasant and clean pub and we three enjoyed the fish and chips. Pleasant staff and good tasting food. Well presented and the puddings were tasty, perhaps a bit pricey though. However an interesting experience and one we would perhaps repeat at a later date.

We had chicken sweet and sour balls and fried rice, the balls were vastly overcooked, some I could not cut into, the special fried rice was in 2 containers and not mixed together as you usually get it, I wonât be back to this takeaway again.

This food outlet has closed down, and the advertised telephone number has been reallocated to a private domestic house totally unconnected with an take away service or food provider. So please don't phone them.

I've used this takeaway for many years, and it was always great. Unfortunately I've had a few meals in the last few months, which have either been overcooked or burnt, the portions size has reduced as well. Such a shame, I now use another outlet.

The kebab here is very good, not greasy and very well cooked, also the salad was fresh and the service pleasant. Overall a good takeaway

My wife and I eat in Palmers fish restaurant (the lager one) yesterday evening. The chips were best ever, the way I like them: quite crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The batter on the cod wa just right. Not to thick, not too thin; nice and crisp. I also had a very generous portion of mushy peas. The service was prompt and the several waiters and waitresses very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was light and airy and meticulously clean. We had such a pleasant evening I felt I had to comment. Due to the pandemic we have not ventured out much in the last three years so it was a pleasant surprise. (On other occasions we have eaten at Palmers smaller restaurant in Yeovil where we had an excellent meal too.)

Stayed nearby, and this was traditional pub was recommended to us by the local owner of our accommodation. Large car park, lovely pub, dog friendly, food was fresh and pipping hot and delicious đ Friendly service, would definitely visit again.
