The best restaurants in South Somerset South West

Ordered 2 pizzas different toppings , honestly the worst pizza I’ve ever had , may aswel of just made ourselves cheese on toast and would of enjoyed it more the cheese on the pizza was to much it didn’t taste great either , the pizza just didn’t taste of anything just cheese the toppings lacked any flavour even when i picked them off to eat on their own and seemed like the tomato sauce base was playing hide and seek if it was there at all. We had chips and I can say they were nice enough good job cause past one slice the pizza was pretty much in the bin , waste Of 30 odd quid not even cheap for the crap qaulity . Yeovil lacks a decent pizza independent place that is good consistently.

So Overpriced, Not Worth The Money. Was going to order tonight but they seem to think they are Michelin star restaurant, basic frozen chips and slap on cheap fake cheese nearly a tenner for that alone lol

This place is always empty and always get turned away even when the restaurant is empty! When you do get a table the service is excruciatingly slow, with overpriced terrible food. The waiting staff always get the order wrong and are very unapologetic. Bad food, poor beer, overpriced and poor service

Gone off Cheese on the Chips ! Unacceptable - You can smell it and it does not smell good at all! Chicken burger only covered in one slice of lettuce! Really don't know what's happened with this takeaway , I've used them for years but the past couple months the food quality has gone down Hill big time, Even the kebab meat now tastes like Rubber...

Pretty good overall Buffet is always nice Staff are always friendly Only issue is its card only

muybuena seleccion de comidas aunque todos los meuns de los pubs son todos iguales...probamos el cauliflower wings y me han sorpendido, estaban buenisimos, ya que no sabia lo que eran pero los voy a hacer en casa, el precio de comidas son iguales a todos los pubs del sur. los asientos muy comodos bien limpios y los aseos tanbien muy limpios.

Always very busy but sometime thus is not so good as you end up with dirty trays underneath where they've nit been properly cleaned. Love the White Hot Chocolate though 💖🩷

First and last visit to the restaurant, ordered flatbreads which were so dense with cheese that it left us all with a belly ache. The one star is for the coffee which was good otherwise it would have been zero. We weren’t asked if we had any allergies. I feel this place has illusions of grandeur with a pompous menu lacking taste, balance or variety. It was very expensive and a 10% service charge was automatically added which I personally hate, as a tip should be a choice not a demand. Ps the flatbread needs a steak knife very hard to cut into. Please don’t respond with the usual defensive monologue, it will land on deaf ears. You get one chance to make a good first impression and you blow it.

Extremely clean friendly and a great place to eat. Food is great reasonably priced for the meals served great customer service from Ben & Ellie always a pleasure to go there clean airy and if the place is too hot extremely good with the air conditioning it is a pleasure to come to the cafe great meeting place friendly atmosphere and great service what more can be said try it don’t think anybody can be disappointed.

NO LONGER SERVES FOOD went for lunch but found they have stopped serving food. seems a nice pub. had drinks and crisps of various flavours

This is a fast food cheap and cheerful resteraunt ideally placed for a bite before or after visiting the museum .The pies are the best choice

We visited for some drinks on Wednesday 8th and were really well looked after, lovely cocktails and presented nicely. We decided to go back on the Saturday for pizza and more drinks! The pizzas were really good, nice thin base and plenty of good quality toppings. Definitely recommend :)

We stayed at the hotel for one night, the room was clean and the breakfast was quite nice. The actual pub was a mess, very run down and depressing. We were booked for two nights but came home after the first day ...... would not recommend this hotel.

What an amazing meal! We had such a lovely time here. The restaurant is clean and tidy, the staff are wonderful, so warm and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, thank you so much for a really enjoyable evening.
