The best restaurants in Teignbridge South West

We ordered our food at 17.45 and it arrived at 19.45. When the food arrived it was cold and not very nice at all. The worst service we have ever received. The person on the phone was really apologetic and tried his best.

Very popular. Great choice of dishes, black bean beef was amazing. Really flavourful. Excellent portion size. Takeaway only.

Beautiful spot on the beach. Has Korev lager which is always a plus

A lovely little pub & restaurant. The staff went over and above to make us feel welcome (including keeping the fire burning). Our meals were cooked after ordering so everything was piping hot. Have no hesitation in recommending.

The usual Boathouse but more hygienic a good experience

Immediately upon entering the vestibule of the restaurant, there was a pronounced fragrance of aromatic Oriental cuisine. At once, the staff welcomed me with a warm smile, and I felt a sense of honor when a young waiter named Robert kindly introduced me to this modern staple of Chinese hospitality within Devon. As a seasoned, world-class food critic myself, familiar with professional Chinese establishments, I can confidently speak from my heart when I say that this restaurant evoked volumes of memories of exuberant international Chinese dishes, bringing me to the point of tears as I savored the chicken and the rice. Upon leaving the restaurant, I was once again met with the same hospitality that I received upon entering this fine establishment. Robert, my favorite waiter, filled me up so good after my food 🤤🤤🤤 food. atmosphere. Newton Abbot offers true fine dining and elite cuisine. As soon as you enter the front hall of the restaurant, the aroma of oriental cuisine hits your face. The staff immediately welcomed me with warm smiles, and I felt honored when a young waiter named Robert kindly introduced me to Devonshire, a staple of this modern Chinese hospitality. As an experienced world-class food critic, familiar with professional Chinese restaurants, I can confidently say that this restaurant brought back rich memories of international Chinese food that made me shed tears while tasting it. Chicken and rice. After leaving the restaurant, I was once again greeted with the same warm hospitality as when I entered this fine restaurant.

Stumbled upon this likeable pub on our way down off the moor on a Saturday afternoon. Ample parking, an easy large stretch of grass down to the river Teign, several outside bench tables, a couple of families with dogs and young children. Inside, two large rectangular tables already laid for communal suppers. A scattering of afternoon drinkers and an affable, hospitable barman. Well kept beers. An enjoyable hour long break. Recommended.

Omg, this pizza was absolutely superb and I’m very fussy! It’s even better than the big pizza chains and a fraction of their cost. I ordered the meat feast at the shop and it was ready in 7 mins. Piping hot, crispy base and loads of lush mozzarella and topping. Highly recommended 🍕😁👍

FANTASIC DATE NIGHT. Myself and my partner was in the area visiting family and we was recommended to try the Mount Pleasant. So We did and WOW 👌. On arrival we were instantly made to feel so welcome and relaxed. The staff were amazing and friendly. We both had food which was absolutely gorgeous, we both ordered a burger and can i just say so juicy and flavoursome. 🤤 the chips were cooked to perfection. To top off the meal we both had a Hot chocolate woth fresh cream & marshmallows. That truly hit the nail on the head🥰 Excellent service all round, what a great evening. Compliments to the chef, bar staff & management.👏 We will definitely be back and will highly recommend to friends & family
