The best restaurants in Shiphay-with-the-Willows Torbay South West

Very poor service. Staff not welcoming.

No hot food at 2pm on a Sunday and multiple hot drinks unavailable from the menu

Rather drive the extra 5 minutes and go to Tobys carvery. Went to the willow tree a couple times, both times the meat was extremely dry and flavourless and the veg was also dry and over cooked and not much of a selection unfortunately. However the staff there was very nice and accommodating.

genuinely top tier cooking, I can't find a fault and these guys could definitely go toe-to-toe with the biggest names out there, I recommend! garlic bread is certified, wings are fire, chicken stripes are moist and burger is wham.

Interior was dirty (sticky floors eww). I wasn't overly impressed by the food for the price. Basically a knock off Shake Shack. Cute murals on the walls.

What an absolute joke. No hot food no sandwiches no chocolate for the cappuccino!!!! Wtf. I will never go there again as this isn't the firsttime. Fire the manager! One guy here is working his butt off ... ridiculous.

Following a lunch at Mark's and spencer torquay, I bought two cappuccinos for myself and a friend. Because the froth on top of cappuccino flattens and cools the drink, I asked for a jug of hot water to top them up. Disappointingly and surprisingly I was charged 90p for this! Come on M&S. Your coffees and food are not cheap. Paying 90p for hot water is very poor.
