The best restaurants in Bradford-on-Avon South Wiltshire South West

What an unpleasant experience! This was once a good venue with excellent food, polite staff and generally clean and tidy. But now the staff obviously don't care and can't be bothered to be courteous. The food is very poor and certainly not value for money. The windows, the floor, the carpets and.the upholstery are filthy. I didn't have the courage to use the toilets, my life is too valuable. The tables are sticky and not wiped down. And there were more badly behaved, barking dogs than customers. Why do they let dogs sit on the chairs, probably why the upholstery is so unpleasant. There was a time that you had to book to eat at The Boathouse and we took friends there, but we wouldn't expose people we like to The Boathouse's poor food, duty and general lack of care and hygiene. Definitely a venue to avoid, which is a shame because the location is fantastic.

My local chip shop, often come down here to place orders for my whole family and have never been disappointed. The staff are great and so friendly, and generous portion sizes. They frequently come out with new items on the menu which are fun to try, my current favourite is the fried chicken burger. Thank you Harlees!!

We were on a coach outing and quite a few of the passengers, looking for somewhere to eat, ended up in BOA Teapot. What impressed me so much was the quite and efficient way the staff dealt with us all. Tea orders were taken, tea and coffee arrived very quickly, we were told there would be a delay, but to our surprise our food arrived very quickly to very hungry customers. The food was nicely displayed and a joy to eat. So many thanks to the two staff there. quite a lot of the coach

Stumbled across this gem. Really good food, reasonably priced. If ever back in the area will certainly visit again. And the staff were polite and friendly.

What a shame - a message to the brewery, why have you let this great pub go downhill? No draft beer, no wine, fridges empty, dirty toilets - clearly unloved but still charged us over £6 for 2 bags of crisps! I felt sorry for the very young bar staff who just spent the whole time apologising!

We visited yesterday lunchtime & the food was exceptional, really tasty & well presented. We would definitely visit again, next time we are in BOA.

Stuffy place with very odd old man making people uncomfortable. He is also very rude. I would not visit again.

Roast dinners are amazing, we had beef and lamb which the meat was so soft, shame we didn't stay long enough to try the pies.

This is a smart cafe with a good selection of cakes and on this occasion we enjoyed the Millionaires Brownie and a moist Blueberry and Lime cake . These were accompanied by good flat whites.

Excellent food at really good prices! We had their lunchtime takeaway deal for £6 each inc Sandwich, baguette, ciabatta etc, crisps and drink. Excellent value, lots of really tasty fillings freshly made to order. Looking around at the alternative prices in Bradford on Avon this business deserves to do well

Very authentic Thai food, and a lovely friendly Thai waitress. We've passed through BOA several times on a boat and this was the best place we found to eat. It doesn't look like much from the outside (a pub car park), but that's more than made up for with the great food.

Well, this is what happens when you jump on the "Just Eat" band wagon. We have ate her before and it was very nice food and service. Unfortunately, today was not the case. We decided to visit for a breakfast and ordered our food. Thirty minutes later, nothing arrived so my wife enquired about the order, only to be told that they had a large delivery to contend with. My wife went off to use the toilets and came back stating they were a disgrace and looked like they hadn't been cleaned. After forty minutes, we cancelled the order and left. There front of house stated they were a chef and a driver down, which was of no concern to us and wasn't disclosed when ordering our food. Over all, a very poor experience, with poor communication and preference to orders going out the door, to those dining in. The waitress also had to apologise to an adjoining table for their late food.

Really friendly staff. We were that nightmare table with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free needs and someone who insisted on food on a plate, not a board - all dealt with wonderfully and with good humour. Fish and chips were the best I'd had in a long while. Limited options for the vegan and veggie as the Dandy had been so busy, but the burger that was available was deemed very good. The Dandy under new management deserves to do well.

Had a quick 5 minute stop for break, and Molly and Bev were so hospital and friendly whilst also upholding a professional mannerism. Sausage rolls are delicious too!

Very nice food, much better than it used to be. Chicken balls were full of chicken, beef curry was good. Will go back and try some other dishes.
