The best restaurants in South West

Fantastic bakery, cakes and bread were top quality. Good range of products that are produced in the premises . You can tell how great the cakes and breads etc are by how busy it is.

First time visit, but will definitely be back... could easily become my 'go to' coffee spot in town. Great coffee ☕ super friendly staff 😁 and all round good vibe 👍

We had an amazing breakfast excellent quality food and wonderful service. Bought wonderful cheese and cold meats. Highly recommend a visit.

Better than the Foos we had in Budapest We had a couple of breakfasts and the cabbage dish. They were all superb, filling and great value. Will be going back next weekend (and quite possibly the one after!)

This is my second time at Karibu. I do not usually opt for a vegan menu but having ordered from there earlier in the year and had a fantastic meal we had to come back for more. My particular favourite is the polenta chips! I look forward to our next meal from Karibu!

I have been here four times now, its become a thing whenever we come to Newquay, tattoo before I go home. The staff are incredibly friendly and always chatting away when you're there. They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.

As usual The Galley provides the very best lunchtime snacks. Tuna sweetcorn sandwich full of tuna on delicious bread. Hot mug of tea to wash it down. I took two cream teas away to eat later with my husband. Large home made scones. There is nothing in Charlestown to beat this place and the prices are so reasonable. Try the crab sandwiches!! Fantastic

This business did not re-open in 2024. Whilst the staff and food were clearly excellent the least they could have done was close the web presence. Our stay at Beach Cove was partly based on the 100 % 5 star ratings on Hele’s Kitchen, gutted when we got here to find it shut down.

Had to wait 35 minutes for a small not to good breakfast was very greasy toast was hard and hard to eat and to top that £35 for two : (

Having seen a lot of photos and posts on social media we just had to see what all the fuss was about......YOU MUST try this place. It may not look much from the outside but once you step inside you are in an authentic American diner. We ordered flat white and mocha, poached egg, avocado on sourdough and the banana waffles. Really good sized servings, excellent presentation but tasted soooooo good. Service was prompt and friendly. Would highly recommend this place and yes it is worth all that social media fuss

Great little cafe - drinks, food, service and toilets were perfect! A hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit. Great value.

The Cinnamon buns are incredible. It all tastes homemade and fresh. Still warm from being in the oven. It’s a real treat to get takeaway pastries here.

I love this cafe. As local I can vouch for the take away coffee. Best in Westward Ho! Always steaming hot and strong enough. The guy who owns it is super lovely too.
