Would rather eat from a bin. Infact, I would rather never eat again and die than dine at this place.

We have been to this lovely place a few times now and love the quality and quantity of their food, all dished up with great service. This time we stopped off for breakfast and then headed to the haynes motor museum and when we finished there, we made our way back down again for our lunch/dinner at this wonderfull place. WE LOOK FOREWARD TO OUR NEXT VISIT. KEEP UP THE HARD GREAT WORK.

First timer here, and I’d say the food and service was on point. Was surprisingly empty when we walked in (about 6pm on a bank holiday) and so was a little weary at first, but once we ‘settled in’ and started eating, we were more than content. Prices are a little steep, but I’d argue this is quality over quantity; even though we certainly had quantity as well. I’d be amazed if anyone could sit through four servings as the menu lays out. Decor was good, food obviously, cheesecake uncertain (I made the mistake of ordering when already full, would’ve probably enjoyed it more otherwise). Didn’t catch her name either, but a shout out to the waitress (youngish with presumably dyed blonde hair) who was pleasant and welcoming. Quite likely to return here if ever in the area.

My wife and I were in Okehampton for a couple of days and fancied a big breakfast before starting off for hone. We found the cafe on google maps and gave it a try. The breakfast was very good and there was lots of choice. The cafe is quite small with 5 tables for 4 and 1 for 2 people. It’s laid out in the style of an American diner. It looks like it’s run by two ladies, one in the kitchen and one serving, so when it’s busy things can take a bit longer, but it’s worth the wait. The waitress was very helpful and accommodating moving us to another table when the sun was shining in our eyes. The cafe was very clean and fresh with the tables and chairs disinfected after each customer. I would recommend giving the cafe a try.

Fui con mi novia para una comida rápida antes de ir al país de las maravillas de Navidad y estaba disgustado. Las alitas de pollo se empanaron y se mezclaron en salsa, haciéndolas ver como turds. Esto no habría sido un problema si hubieran probado algo además del agua de mar. No pude terminarlos. Mi novia tenía los tiernos y aunque también eran extremadamente salados, al menos eran comestibles. no vayas aquí sin 5 litros de agua. La comida es horrible y todo el montaje se siente barato. Tuve que arrancar toallas de papel del rollo con las manos sucias para conseguir una servilleta lo que me hizo pensar en cuántas otras personas probablemente tenían las manos cubiertas de salsa, se lamían los dedos y luego jugueteaban con el rollo delante de mí. Asqueroso.

Super friendly staff and particularly a big shout out to the amazing Sophie who was lovely when out dog demolished a latte and coated all the outdoor tables with it. She even made us a new coffee but wouldn’t take payment. Only reason this is not 5* is it’s not dog friendly. This inconsistency is something Starbucks need to sort out!!

Have used Romeos for a few years now and can’t recommend the steak wraps enough! Staff always polite and helpful as I often order over the phone and pick-up before fishing. Previously they’ve delivered to me on the pier and I’m sure they still would if I asked. Thanks!

Went for a cooked breakfast. Bought 4 large ones £16 each ???? While the service was good and portion size was good . The beans were terrible, the worst I have eaten. The potato pieces were tasteless, and the sausages weren't much better . Never worth £16 . It's a shame as their restaurant Foreign Muck opposite is very good , this place isn't

51 s es un lugar único con tres áreas diferentes. Casi nos perdimos el restaurante del segundo piso y la zona del jardín, que es muy diferente al bar de la planta baja. Yo recomendaría ir arriba para algo un poco más acogedor. Tuvimos una persona muy amable nos sirvió y la comida era fantástica, hecha en un horno de leña. Bastante barato también. Como un "conocedor de pizza", puedo decir que la pizza fue posiblemente la mejor que he tenido en Bristol. El bar es muy divertido, en todos los sentidos, que quizás no sea para todos. Pero el piso de arriba ofrece algo un poco más alejado de la experiencia a pie de calle de otros lugares. Sin duda volveremos!

I popped in for a freshly made cheese and pickle sandwich. In hindsight: I realise I was overcharged: £5 for two slices of white bread ( not very fresh) from a cut loaf packet of bread, average taste of the grated cheddar which was not particularly generous in filling and some Branston pickle added as filling. I should have tried one of their pasties that looked OK but pricier than say Greggs the bakers by far. Not good value at all. I won't revisit. At least the counter staff were friendly!

No esperaba mucho. Quedarse aquí. Vuelo cancelado (gracias Francia). No de buen humor. Elegimos ravioles porcini. Agotado. Pero. . . . Luego fuimos por 2 entrantes. Kofta de cordero con hummus de pimiento rojo y tzatsiki, y pan con aceitunas y ajo mejor. Realmente bueno. El tzatsiki fue fantástico. Como un yogur líquido de ajo. Escuché a muchas personas decir lo buenos que eran sus platos principales. Claramente un buen chef.

My wife and I wanted something special for our anniversary meal. We both had rib-eye steak and it was delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient. The menu is changes daily with both meat and seafood dishes. I will try the lobster on our next visit.

I was so excited to try these macaroons as I have an obsession with them. From previous reviews I was prepared for the expense and macaroons tend to be pricey anyways but I was disappointed with how dry they were. There were a variety of flavours and colours were beautiful but I was shocked with how dry and flavourless they were. I’ve had macaroons from many places and can say these are sadly the worst.

Awful from start to finish. The staff were clueless and the food and drinks were mediocre at a push. Loaded fries were more like semi dusted with topping and straight out of the freezer. The buttermilk chicken burger was more like a mini chicken fillet. When we complained we were met with a staff member who obviously wasn’t trained to deal with complaints as her response was ‘you keep complaining’! I would not recommend this restaurant and I find it strange how they claim to have hundreds of happy customers but only a handful of reviews on TA. Work out what you are. Are you a cocktail bar or a restaurant? May I also suggest that if you are the owner you maybe spend a bit more time working at your own restaurant and also train your staff.
