The best restaurants in Stafford West Midlands

2 yrs of amazing food so far ! I wrote my first review in 2022. So time for a refresh. I have continued to use Tim's place regularly for the works "breakfast run" and the food is consistently fabulous. Hot, tasty and clearly made and delivered by friendly and competent staff. Nowhere else has come close so here's to the next 2 years. ! Thanks Guys and Happy New Year !

Great little pub, Good Band on Saturday night, friendly professional landlord called Steve who keeps a good clean house.. Very Reasonable prices, fast barstaff and a friendly place with a good vibe.. This place is an independent pub saved by Steve from closure. I support the place by visiting regularly even though I don't live locally.. 👍

My favourite place to get cookie pies and milkshakes! Sarah is lovely and always extremely helpful! Upstairs there is a relaxing place to either sit with friends or revise!

Do not miss the carvery. Amazing value and service. This compared to the establishment on the other side of the island ( see my review on them) is quite frankly night and day. Plenty on the menu if you don’t want a roast. Good quality coffee

Found this takeaway last year food always fresh hot and tasty what a find. Always ready at the agreed time nothing is to much trouble staff are great.

We love this little independent patisserie, it's tucked away down The Colonnade (opposite the theatre) and has the most scrumptious sausage rolls and fresh cakes- new selection every day. We brought mum today and indulged in Asparagus & Cheese Quiche, Apple & Sage sausage rolls and a gorgeous Raspberry Cheesecake. All with coffees. There's a room with tables/chairs, purchasable artwork and paperback novels - book swap or donations. After a long tiring day at work ordered Pizza and sides. Very quick delivery. Piping hot food. Delivery driver very friendly.

Regular visitors to the cat cafe and everytime we feel so chilled and relaxed when we leave. The staff are all friendly the food and drinks are great. The cats are an absolute delight and very entertaining we go as often as we can to support this business.

I popped into the House of Bread Cafe because I had heard about their book shelf and wanted to donate some of my old books. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. It is a pay as you feel establishment. It does a wonderful job of helping out a lot of people in need in the local Stafford area. There is a children's room, piano, many tables, and lovely bookcases in the cafe. It's a delightful place to donate your books to and grab a brew.

Super micro pub, great host and team on the bar!..... Always a warm welcome and well kept beers ... always lovely to pop in when in the area! c

Birthday Brownie cake taste was amazing

Five of us visited on Sunday morning. Great choice of breakfast items, we all enjoyed our choices. Decent coffee, and lovely friendly service. Really great value compared to the other local offering. Good honest food. Will definitely return.

Lovely, traditional old style pub. I became somewhat a local to this pub during some work I was doing in the area however loved my time visiting here. Friendly staff, lovely drinks and plenty on offer and even the locals were friendly! Would definitely recommend this place!
