On our way back from the cotswolds we decided to stop for breakfast here and we were not disappointed, friendly staff who cooked the best breakfast I have ever had ( the sausages are amazing!) Would recommend you try this place x

We booked this with a group of 10 friends on recommendation from others who have previously visited. We understand that the management has recently changed. We were warmly welcomed and everything was prepared. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The price was good value and we are definitely planning to return. For a Christmas period it was very quiet, they deserve to do well and I hope they attract more custom.

Today I visited The Bay Cafe solely for the amount of gluten free options available. I was pleasantly surprised with how much there was to offer. It's very rare to find somewhere which can cater for many allergies and this place is perfect! I came solo with the intent of ordering some lunch and relaxing with my book. I ordered the oat milk mocha and GF tandoori chicken fries and they're honestly the best loaded fries I've ever had!! Chicken was very fresh and tender. I'll definitely be returning back here with more people in tow. Thank you to all the staff for being so friendly 😁

Now the roast menu is back Sunday lunch was just brilliant! Generous portions of tender roast beef in my case, well prepared vegetables and an excellent Yorkshire pudding with a very tasty gravy. The mixed berry crumble to follow was of the same high standard. The decor may be a bit tired but the food and good value more than make up for that.

Arrived early for breakfast and were turned away by rude staff member who said they couldn’t fit us in even though there were multiple tables both inside and out available not even just for a coffee……… funny how you never get turned away when any other member of staff greets you at the door….poor show and won’t be returning even though when they do accommodate you the food and service is usually very good. Very disappointing

You are so missing a trick here!! This should be a thriving busy cafe. You don’t have enough staff to service the tables and they need training, just simple training in efficiency and customer care. It shouldn’t take 8 mins to order three hot drinks and two snacks. The person at the till kept repeating the order and looking at the tray then they ordered a vegan toastie in error and had to change it. We then waited 25 minutes for the toastie and it had virtually no cheese and four slivers of tomato, see pics below. The courtyard still has wasps pestering clients. You need to site a wasp feeder away from the courtyard maybe near the kitchen garden- wasps are very smart they will find it and keep away from your visitors. Improve service, increase the through put of visitors and make more money! It’s not hard.

Called in on the off chance they could fit us in one Sunday lunchtime. Only a Christmas menu available and we are both pescatarian so ordered the scallops and the sea bass. Scallops lovely, well seasoned with a nice fresh salad. Sea bass cooked nicely however served on a small salad plate and new potatoes were undercooked and very dry and floury (not in season). Parsnips raw and broccoli overcooked. Upon mentioning the undercooked potatoes they brought more to the table but they were the same as before only piping hot as had just been microwaved. Discussed this with the bar and waiting staff who were very apologetic and gave a small discount on the menu. Such a shame as the restaurant is nicely furnished but sadly will not go back

Well after a wonderful visit to Hanbury Hall to view the lovely Christmas inspired rooms, we decided to have lunch at the Jinny Ring Centre. What a disappointing decision that was. The food is very overpriced, and the two quiche /salad lunches and a wrap were all tasteless -they could have been any filling really, and even the coleslaw lacked any flavour. Coffee was dispensed from a machine..really?!?! After seeing two poor examples of Irish coffees served to an adjacent table,( the waitress did offer to change them) it just confirmed to us that there would be no reason for us to ever visit this establishment again. A shame really as it’s in a great position.

What a disaster had lunch here years ago and brilliant how things have changed now and not for the better I chose prawn baggette and side order of gourmet chips what turned up was a spongy excuse for bread and extremely watered down rose marie sauce with the tiniest prawns ever seen and the chips were reconstituted powder that stuck to the roof of the mouth absolute rubbish My wife opted for the mushroom risotto which turned up as a plate of green rice with uncooked lumps for texture and a bad case of find the mushroom and no taste or flavour whatsoever My pot of tea contained one teabag which was probably the cheapest bought with no strength at all Although we will be back for shopping or garden centre we will definitely not be returning here again I'd rather bring a flask and sandwiches
