Delicious Asian street food with plenty of vegan options. Especially loved the gyozas and loaded fries. Totally underestimated the portion sizes. Highly recommended.

An absolutely great meal very reasonably priced. Service was quick and responsive and we would definitely recommend.

In our opinion, this is easily the best chippy in town. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly, it's one of our favourite places in Pocklington. Fantastic.

Betty's never disappoints! The food is always great and I love the atmosphere. I go to Betty's on every trip to York. In December, I had breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner on different days. The shop is also full of wonderful things!

As regulars here for many years attending for meals twice a week in groups of 4-12. We will no longer be coming back due to the past couple of times when a certain member of staff has been on shift he has belittled us making us out to be rude and inappropriate around other tables who have never actually complained about us. He seems to have attitude problems which ruins our evening every time so for that reason we will no longer be attending whilst said male member of staff is present.

We were recommended this pub by a friend who is a chef. It was a great recommendation. We had the midweek roast dinner and it was excellent. We followed up with a winter crumble with custard. This was also excellent. The staff were really helpful and the atmosphere was first rate. I'd definitely come again.

Lovely Sunday lunch at great prices in our local pub. Reasonable wine prices (and French to boot), great beer and lagers and superb roast dinner (beef, pork or turkey). Not to mention my pâté starter. We didn’t have room for a dessert. Next time! Thanks team.

After an horrendous day stranded on the A166 with 2 small children after car breakdown , we was finally rescued by my brother who drove us to Stamford Bridge, while the driver remained awaiting pick up truck , we was greeted by wonderful staff who realised we was all frozen and without food for several hours for the little ones , they very kindly gave us hot drinks and cold ones for the kids and a bowl of fries also, I have never received such kindness from a place , they let us have it on them , what a wonderful caring team , I will be back as a regular paying customer . What a beautiful gem we discovered today , huge heartfelt gratitude, it won’t be forgotten xxxxx

Food average only. Batter on fish tainted with other fried items Burger hard. No real ales. A poor experience in a town boasting to be Food Capital.

They no longer serve food, so this needs to be made public notice! When I asked the guy behind the bar he said he could not do anything! A party of Four, left very disappointed... Customers beware.

Somebody had told me about the cafe and the Rainbow Bowl and I had to come and try it. It was really great! Other things on the menu were very tempting, too, so I'm going to have to come back as soon as possible! I'm also very fussy about my coffee but found it just to my liking! I wish I'd known about this cafe before but just so glad I know about it now.
