The best restaurants in Pocklington Provincial East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

We had high expectations when dinning tonight. To me it's about the whole experience not just the food. On entering the restaurant it didn't feel italian more like a cafe as the lighting didn't give the right atmosphere. I felt the menu selection was not as good as other Italians I have been to. No fillet steak on the menu. I'm not a fan of restaurants that charge a huge markup on bottled beer. Prefer a nice draught pint which wasn't an option. On the whole the food was good but didn't understand a side salad with a hot meal. I had scallops of pork which I expected would be served with veg not raw Carrott and rocket. For a family run business that's been there for over 30 years I was left feeling let down to be honest. Too many negatives to offset the good food sorry.

£2.00 delivery charge, £1.00 service charge, what for we live in Pocklington a quarter of a mile away, utterly disgusted, won't be using you again..... Franks is a lot better value for money 💰

We’ve eaten here so many times over the years. Never had a bad experience yet. Great Staff, Great Food, Cold Beer. Better than any Curry we’ve ever had around the Country…. Even Birmingham.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the pub the atmosphere was so good & friendly & helpful and l had Alfie the dog 🐕 with me whilst I was there and there were all friendly people who were good to him

Best fresh made pizza I've had in a long time and fantastic owner! It was stone cold in 5 minutes though which I don't understand. .. maybe better boxes are needed! Not a complaint tho as was 100% perfect otherwise 👌

Love this Chinese , fantastic value and lovely lovely food

As a chef it's difficult sometimes to find somewhere which has beautiful food for great prices. Well this place has it all. It's a traditional setting with a great atmosphere from guests and staff. But the food was spectacular. No fault from any of our party. They even had take a way tubs for two of us who couldn't finish. The steaks are beautifully cooked and rested with the baked cheesecake bringing it all home. Will be returning 5*****

Not so much black bull as much as it is “the Black Death”. I’d put further details here but I simply don’t want to waste my breath. Management very poor.

We went over Christmas and having got the time wrong, most of our table were 30 minutes’ late (my mistake!) The staff were so accommodating and did not rush us, the service was impeccable, so friendly and kept checking if we needed anything else. Food was delicious and affordable, very impressed we’ll be back soon! Thank you!

Met a few friends for some drinks and was amazed by the amount of choice. It was busy and had a good atmosphere and all the staff were very helpful.

Excellent food with great service. I wasn’t sure about going based on the pictures on trip advisor. I was pleasantly surprised and loved my dinner! I highly recommend Luigi’s!

If there was a 0 for food service I would agrree with that. 3 people and a dog. 3 members of staff. 1 guy short hair 2 woman on shift 1 blonde and brown Waited on dog table 10-15 mins with menu. No acknowledgement by the staff. Very disappointed after a long 5 mile walk No retun

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal out last night and would recommend Sonali to anyone. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent.
