Bit dingy lighting, given that the cafe is deep back to front. The teacake was delicious but only scantily buttered and not around the edges, so ask for extra butter. A serviette would have been nice. Taylor decaf tea was extra weak, ask for an extra tea bag to get a bit of taste

Just have to say how fabulous this bakery shop is bought to fruit scones with cherry and half slice of orange on top wish I had bought more I highly recommend also the sausage rolls visited several times and always wish I had bought more

My colleagues and I regularly get lunch and it is always great (recommend chicken passion sandwich or the soup of the day). I often go in to buy a wine to accompany a meal or to ask advice on gifts and I always leave with a great bottle of something delicious that goes brilliantly with whatever I have prepared. Worth going the extra 5 mins out of town for if you are visiting Beverley!

I stopped here on the way to catch my bus. The lady who served me was polite, professional and friendly. Good selection of both hot and cold drinks as well as snacks on display and at reasonable prices, for the wear traveller. Unfortunately, the waiting area next door was closed, but this didnt matter on a warm and sunny day, but would be different in winter! Will be back again when on my travels.

Foodie Heaven ! Amazing experience. We tried the current seasonal menu which was an 8 course taster experience. The menu only gave a slight hint of each course. The food creations we tasted were unbelievable. This is fine dining at its best. Not cheap but definitely worth it for our special occasion. The service was impeccable, very professional and just the right level for this high end restaurant without being stuffy. It's a shame that more people weren't eating there on a Saturday night. If you love food elevated to another level give Whites a try.

Great craft ales, with one or two among my favourite ever beers. Food is vegan, which isn't everyone's thing. Knowledgeable staff are always willing to advise on your choices.

Such a lovely restaurant. The food was 1st class. We had the private dining area for parents birthday. Staff were attentive but not there all the time. Will definitely re book. Thanks again all the staff

We had an excellent stay and were booked in for one night but added another when there We are going back for a couple of nights next month .The place is excellent .The evening meal was also . All staff are a credit to the hotel and so obviously love working for Thwaites . The hotel is in a great position in the middle of Bevevrley with parking at the rear . Well worth trying if you havent been .

Excellent service, attentive staff and excellent food. Website booking function was showing as not avaliable on the bank holiday, but we risked it and turned up anyway, really glad we stopped in on our way through.

Tasty food, friendly service, plenty of choice, great vegan menu, lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return at some point!

We were travelling back through Beverly and decided to stop on the off chance. It's a lovely place, loads of parking. The restaurant was spotless with helpful, friendly staff. The food was great, fresh ingredients, and beautifully cooked. Would 100% go again if we're passing again. Definitely recommend it

Been a good few times for special occasions and always a fantastic experience all round - best Thai I’ve ever had and service is always very friendly, attentive and quick. We went for a friends birthday and brought a small cake and candles of which they were happy to present to us as desert, honestly couldn’t ask for more. We ordered a table full of food, 4 curries, 4 rices, whole duck, chips and a starter as a side, worked out at £33 each including soft drinks so great value for money. 2 of us also ordered take out for our partners- you know it’s good when you’ve got to bring extra home!

Fantastic food and always tasty plenty of choice and the staff are always helpful and friendly 😃
