The best restaurants in East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

We have been coming here for a while but tonight the meal was just lovely - the fish was fresh and beautifully cooked and the chips were crisp. Our experience was made so much better by the attentive and excellent service by Annie. A fantastic experience and would highly recommend!!

We came as a family with my elderly parents, dad in a wheelchair. The staff were excellent and accommodating. The food was sensational. 3 courses for 4 people 267 with drinks. Portions are good and every mouthful was a delight. Thank you

Had some good expectations after hearing how good the Camerton was. Easy to get to, good parking, clean and welcoming. The staff were very keen to get your drinks order in asap, no problem, could be great service, these arrived promptly, we placed our food order. I ordered their mammoth burger again with great expectations, the food took an age to arrive, in the meantime attentive staff checked if we wanted more drinks, again not a problem, could be great service. The food arrived all good, presented well and hot! Shortly after starting one of the team”checked” if everything was okay, at the time it was as we really hadn't got into it yet. I'm only reviewing my meal and my experience, when I got to my double burger patties, they were cremated, I ms aged o e but couldn't finish the other, I mrntion rd this to the server who cleared the tsble, instead of customer service I was challenged as to why I hadn't said anything when checked... Surprised, we got the bill and left… Unsurprisingly, first and last visit, now on my Blacklist. School report: Could do better Need to try a little harder Focus on customer service

Simply fantastic in all areas. It's fairly simple but delicious food and excellent service. This was our second visit and just as good as the previous. Prices all reasonable and the food was excellent home cooked pub grub. Recommend booking due to it being quite popular. Environment and atmosphere not too noisy either.

Fantastic food quality was phenomenal and service was so good and what we loved most is they allowed dogs which is fantastic. They even asked if the dogs could have a treat which was lovely.

Cracking family run restaurant on a corner as you exit north from Cottingham town. Great service and lovely food at good prices.

We recommend this restaurant . Had a lovely authentic Indian meal , staff very helpful and attentive , menu good and not too expensive . Restaurant was spacious and clean . We will return when in Beverley again .

Pedimos del menú de 'picaduras lite' ya que ninguno de los dos teníamos hambre. Mi pollo Hunters era hermoso, pero mis maridos eglefino y patatas fritas era de risa. Recibió un trozo de pescado de no más de 2 "pero guisantes que llenaban dos tercios de su plato y algunas patatas fritas muy grumosas. Entiendo que el precio del pescado ha subido de precio, pero su comida realmente parecía "la que se escapó". También nos sentamos en la zona donde se permiten perros y estaba absolutamente helado, la primera vez que he usado mi abrigo para comer una comida. Permítanme sugerir algún tipo de calefacción en esa área para que las personas con perros puedan disfrutar de su comida sin verse restringidas por las prendas exteriores.

Was really looking forward to coming here and have to say was pretty disappointed. The young lad was pleasant enough but did seem more interested in the more local / regular customers. The food was very average I’ve had worse but had better. the having to pay 40p for any type of sauce is outrageous, I understand paying for homemade sauces but paying for a tiny pot of ketchup when paying good money for food isn’t really fair, the tartar sauce was awful. Just a real shame all round

Called in today just after opening at 2pm to be greeted by a really friendly server who seated us straight away at a table of our choosing (the window) and we quickly had menus in front of us. We were offered drinks which arrived quickly and we’d both made up our minds that we’d order pizza! Literally within no time at all we were served our pizzas, a margarita and a doner, piping hot. Both had a super thin crust, plenty of tomato sauce and cheese, plus a good amount of doner. Our side order of cheesy chips was also delicious, crispy fries and plenty of melted cheese. The atmosphere is really pleasant, the food top notch and the service very friendly. Highly recommend a visit.

Highly recommend and dog friendly. Would advise booking on a weekend! Lovely food in a nice and relaxing place. Friendly staff. Favourites are chicken tenders and the Sunday lunch!

Excellent service and wonderful food. The oxtail risotto starter was amazing, would have happily had it as a main! Fish and chips were very tasty. More than happy with the portion sizes. Will definitely return.

Never fails to deliver on 5 star food stake pie melts in your mouth.i ordered the fish and chips with mussy peas. Take note proper chips done just how they should be nice and brown staff so professional in what they do .this is why railway is so popular .

Very welcoming place to meet friends and lunch.. food great and cakes unbelievable, so difficult to choose. Dog friendly too. We were made most welcome and will definitely be back. Oh those cakes.

A lovely evening. The North Star is a great place for a lovely meal. It's cosy and welcoming. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and can answer any questions you may have. Food came out quickly and was lovely good portions too The star of the north star has to be the dessert trolley . Very hard to choose, all looked delicious . Will be back next time I am in the area
