Working away from home and staying in a lovely guest house up the road and we decided to go for a pint. I saw other customers food being brought out and I couldn’t resist!!!! And I was the furthest from disappointed than a fat man who loves his food could be. The roast of the day Yorkshire wrap is beyond words and I will be returning when I’m over this way again and to top it off as this review is titled? The landlady and the staff are so welcoming I felt like I’d walked in to my local not a pub 200 miles away from home!! Thank you so much and I will be back.

We were looking for some were different to have Sunday lunch. We certainly made the right choice. The staff were friendly and the surroundings were very welcoming. We ordered at the vegetable soup for starters, when it arrived it looked perfect and appetizing served with a bread roll and butter. On tasting the soup was nice and hot and completely full filling a perfect starter. The main course we ordered was a traditional roast with beef our choice of meat. Our main course arrived and looked delicious the presentation of the food on the plate looked perfect. Once again the food was hot and really satisfying in fact wonderful. We were eager to try a starter even though we were edging towards very full, never mind let's ' Push the Boat Out'. We ordered treacle sponge and custard. It arrived steaming hot with a generous jug of custard also very hot. On indulging on our desert it was lovely and we did not want it to end. All I can say is we believe we made the perfect choice, and would like to thank the staff at The Hase for making our Easter Sunday very enjoyable. It won't be long before we will be visiting again.

Now called Lyndseys cafe, popped in for breakfast with my daughter. Friendly staff, quick service, hot freshly made coffee, good breakfast, clean toilets.....nothing we didn't like. We had the breakfast stack, was really good.....bigger than you think! We will be back :)

We found the Mirchi lounge whilst on holiday and had a lovely meal there. All the Indian restaurant favourites are here as well as a good range of house specials. Whilst the prices had increased from the menu shown on their website they were still very good value. We had two courses plus drinks for two of us and it came to just over 50 pounds. We felt very full and both enjoyed our food. Two more happy customers here!

Llegamos a conocer a los tres chicos Wonky, Roo & Dave enseguida tan soo como llegamos ya que el gato encantador estaba esperando también presentarnos, conocimos a todos los demás animales de granja y Ginge el gato, pero fue 100% las increíbles vacas de las tierras altas que hicieron de este viaje lo que fue. So pleased food is back on at this lovely pub. Booked a table on Sunday night. Lovely welcome as usual. Food is absolutely fabulous. Homemade brownies to die for! Had a lovely meal and will be back.

As usual on these trips it’s Fish & Chips on the Friday night. We were not disappointed, excellent food offer, ample portions & superb quality. Can definitely recommend.

I have passed this cafe many times and never visited before, always thinking it was just a 'bikers' cafe. (Nothing against bikers, used to be one generations ago)! Today, as part of a walking group we called in for lunch at the end of our walk and we were all very pleasantly surprised. The cafe itself is spacious, pleasantly decorated and well laid out. The staff were all friendly and efficient. And the food was all very tasty and excellent value. Including a free bowl of chips to share. Thank you ladies.

We had festive afternoon tea Greeted with cocktails which were delicious Then we were taken into the main room where all the tables were dressed to perfection Then the food started arriving Oh my goodness it was gorgeous and so plentiful We were offered doggy bags which was a good job

Having a long weekend in my favourite seaside place and found out that vaping is the thing here having witnessed 4 Young men puffing away in full yiew...

Having had a couple of take aways from here, we decided to to have a meal as we were so impressed with the takeaways. We were not disappointed. We all had different including vegetarian. All were more than pleased with what we had and will certainly be going there again. The owner and his business partner were a pleasure to chat with after we had finished and thoroughly entertaining. All round, an excellent night out.
