Shame the stars only go up to 5 as this place deserves more! Lovely warm welcome when we entered (myself, Mum and Sis) by a lovely lady behind the counter. We took our seats, which was quite amusing as we are all under 5' but we had a giggle getting up on the seats/benches which only made our visit more fun - and gave the owner a giggle too, as well as my Sis getting stuck on the chair! Having done some research we knew what we wanted so off we go to order two Knickerbocker Glory's and one 3 Scoop Sundae (which took some deciding from the 22 different flavours!) Have to say, my KG was absolutely gorgeous - so much fruit and jelly too, not all Gelato as in other places. My Mum and Sis enjoyed their KG and Sundae too. Was funny when the owner piped up with "That's what I like to hear - silence. It means you're all enjoying it!" to which Mum replied "It's not often we're all this quiet!" Such lovely welcome, lovely clean surroundings, so much choice, reasonable prices, lovely creamy Gelato and a good giggle and chat with the owner - what more could you ask for? Could be easily missed so please check out this place, you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to my piece of Flapjack which I brought home for later - perfect ending to a wonderful Birthday :) :) Will definitely be back :)

Had a great christening after do here, been a few times before. New management are doing a great job and continuing to improve.

La decoración es bastante anticuada, pero está limpia y es genial ver cafés de la "vieja escuela" como este todavía en existencia. Los precios son muy razonables para este día y edad y se obtiene un desayuno y una preparación adecuados para su dinero. Servido caliente, lleno de sabor y con personal muy amable. Muy recomendable!

Finally made it to this gorgeous place. Menu is great for ecery taste! We all ate different food and all had amazing meals. Lovely vibe almost like you are on holiday. The wine list was great and affordable, staff lovely. We will return once we can get in again! You must pre book. Thank you ♡

Absolutely stunning meal at Gransmoor lodge, some of the best quality food we’ve had. The monster fish and chips were out of this world and the steak was juicy and cooked to perfection, the homemade pepper corn sauce and coleslaw were also fantastic we couldn’t have been happier with our experience, compliments to the chef and staff would definitely recommend!

Very friendly . Looked reasonably priced. BUT the food was tasteless and no I don't have COVID.. very little spice in the starters and the mains were like dishwater.... The chicken was of very poor quality. We thought it must be previously frozen as it was hard. It beggars belief I know as the previous reviews were excellent. But for me one bad experience will keep me away forever.

Been coming here 20+years, favourite Indian by far. All the staff are lovely and the food is amazing everytime and very reasonably priced.

Gone down hill big style since we first started using this place I’ve tried telling them they don’t listen I doubt they monitor reviews We won’t be going back £60 for 4 people Never again

Can't go to the seaside without having fish and chips. My wife wanted to eat in as it was a little cool out. What a lovely little place. Served by a lovely lady who shared some fun banter with us. Meal was spot on as well. Thank you. Just wish I could remember the ladies name but hopefully she will see this. Would definitely visit again if we are ever down that way again.

WOW!!! We stopped here for lunch after doing a fantastic walk by the canal. We all had no idea what to expect and were blown away from arrival. The restaurant is lovely. Pub has a gorgeous feel to it. Staff so kind and more than happy to provide fresh water for our dogs! The food was fantastic! Gorgeous to go somewhere and not only have Panninis and sandwiches on offer! They managed to cater for our large girlie table and the coffee's and desserts were also wonderful. This place is so near and I will be returning with my family! Owners as hospitable as this, deserve to do well. THANK YOU Team Blue Post Inn!
