We had high expectations when dinning tonight. To me it's about the whole experience not just the food. On entering the restaurant it didn't feel italian more like a cafe as the lighting didn't give the right atmosphere. I felt the menu selection was not as good as other Italians I have been to. No fillet steak on the menu. I'm not a fan of restaurants that charge a huge markup on bottled beer. Prefer a nice draught pint which wasn't an option. On the whole the food was good but didn't understand a side salad with a hot meal. I had scallops of pork which I expected would be served with veg not raw Carrott and rocket. For a family run business that's been there for over 30 years I was left feeling let down to be honest. Too many negatives to offset the good food sorry.

We visited the Haven Arms for our Christmas lunch and wow what we can say , the food was phenomenal, the service was excellent and we received the warmest of welcomes. This past year I have been diagnosed as lactose intolerant , I advised Mark and Alison of this prior to Christmas Day and it wasn’t a problem. They worked around this and accommodated me and ensured my meal was suitable. This is a local pub with a friendly atmosphere , we have previously eaten here and all we can say is that the food does give any Michelin star restaurant a run for its money. Thank you to Mark, Alison and all your staff for all your hard work and for making our Christmas perfect and stress free.

Visited at 2pm on a Sunday. It wasn’t very busy. Cancelled drink-inside order, as the place was just so dirty. Food all over the floor. Sticky tables. Ripped chairs. It’s in serious need of an upgrade. It’s a shame because it’s a nice location. There were only 2 or 3 staff working, so the blame sits with management. More staff needed to help keep it tidy. Money needed to upgrade and replace chairs, tables and decorations.

9 of us went for a family meal as 3 of us had birthdays. We were sat by 7.30. Starters didn’t arrive until 8.20 and then one starter we had to ask for as it wasn’t brought out.The mains then came out at 9.10. There was no communication from the staff regarding the wait on food, and we weren’t approached and asked if we wanted more drinks during the waits. There was probably 50% of the restaurant seats taken, and no reason for the delay was communicated. The food was fine, just a disappointing service.

Food was absolutely lovely! The service was horrificly slow though, no one was attentive to take quick drink orders etc, lots of staff about and restaurant wasn't really busy, waiters etc just walking past made ready drinks on the bar. Will return to see if this was just an off night hopefully was

Just had a capachino very good as usual. Caffe Nero is my favourite place for drinks and eats

Love everything about Wok88. Food is always hot when delivered, portion sizes are large and reasonably priced and all staff are friendly and helpful.

£2.00 delivery charge, £1.00 service charge, what for we live in Pocklington a quarter of a mile away, utterly disgusted, won't be using you again..... Franks is a lot better value for money 💰
