The best restaurants in Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

Once again a large group of us enjoyed New Year's Eve in Mario's Restaurant. As usual, we could not have wished for a more enjoyable evening. The food was excellent and the service was great even though the restaurant was so busy. I would recommend you give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

What a lovely pub. We walked there with our dog (we’re local) and nipped through to the rear courtyard. Nice range of beers and lovely atmosphere. Everything was spotless and we were checked up on by a member of staff asking whether we needed blankets (no need, the heater was toasty). Definitely worth a visit - we didn’t eat there but could see in to the busy and very clean looking kitchen.

Really great food. I’m very disappointed that I’m not able to tip my courier after delivery. This was my first time using this app. Tipping depends on the job a person does. Not being allowed to increase tip is a disservice to the hard working people you employ. Please fix this. If other apps can do this so can just eat. Do better for your employees.

The finest steak and ale pie I’ve tasted. The menu provides a great selection without being overkill. The staff is friendly and engaging and the prices are very competitive.

Delicious home cooked Sunday Carvery, amazing food, great service and lovely atmosphere. A real gem.

Food was below average, we both ordered chicken & at that price it was expected to be chicken breast, it was a cheap cut of chicken thighs, when we said we wernt really happy with the food, the attitude of the lady wasn't really good. Would not go again 😔
