The best restaurants in Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

It was off hours but packed which is a good sign. Bit of live music and a bite to eat seemed perfect! On this occasion our order might have been left at the counter and overlooked as we waited well over an hour for a couple burgers and fish and chips - when it came out it tasted a bit reheated. Even then the food was still tasty! Im sure it would have been awesome fresh! The servers were nice the manager very accommodating in giving us a round of drinks on the house for the wait. Looks like a great place to go out with buds and drink a few buds but unfortunately we went for the food at a crazy busy time and it didn’t go well for us. I will come back again someday and will hopefully be able to update this review with more stars as the atmosphere was great!

Great little cafe on the backs of the Nidd in Knaresborough. Good service, lovely food and delicious coffee.

Fab pub - would highly recommend for friends, couples and families. Really good values, nicely decorated, exceptional service, good prices. Thanks for a great night.

Jackie and I have been members a while, and also had our wedding at Rudding. We have to say, that the service at Horto is amazing and a special shout out to Agnes who is absolutely brilliant! She deserves special recognition from senior management for her wonderful approach to customer service. Her team is great with again special mention to Cheryl, Diane and Victoria who always make us feel at home (we’re here 3-5 times a week!) Food and drink great but it’s the 5 star customer service that takes this to the next level. Well done Agnes and team 👏

This was our first visit to Lawai Spice and we were impressed. Our curries were all decent portions and very tasty, as were the various breads and side dishes. I also thought that the prices were most reasonable. The service throughout was attentive and very friendly and we will certainly come back.

After being recommended by a family member we wanted to give it a shot, can only say it blew us away, delicious chicken, good sizes and amazing service + its cheap compared to competitors. Honestly the best chicken in Harrogate

Came for Sunday Lunch and firstly put in the tightest of corners behind a family already eating and had to disturb them during their meal. We then both ordered the beef and the portion size was poor for the meat only one slice each and tried to fill half the plate with cabbage, the roast potatoes weren’t fully cooked and beef was far too chewy, finally when asking for the bill they just forgot about us and we waited another 20 minutes then just went to the bar and paid no apologies either. The two main things the food and service were just not good enough sadly and does not represent the prices they charge.

Definitely be back, we were a little reluctant after seeing lots of negative reviews for service and value, all totally wrong!! Food, service and value for money all exceptional!! Ten stars to the lovely Millie who looked after us tonight 🤩 two courses of delicious food including a glass of Prosecco for under £25, absolute no brainer. The shepherds pie and mushroom and truffle linguine were absolutely delicious, wish I had the recipe to replicate them myself, followed by sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream, OMG, don’t hesitate to book

Every thing ok I wouldn't go back as they add on a service charge which I should have challenged as it was not advertised. We would have left a tip any way but to add it on bill no good .
