THE BEST CHINESE IN HARROGATE!
If I could give little haks more than 5 stars I would. Cindy and her team are always so accommodating and friendly, the food is incredible and so delicious, especially the dumplings and prawn toast. The hospitality is always 5 stars, twice I have mentioned that we are celebrating a birthday when bookings they’ve accommodated us bringing a cake to their restaurant and both times they provided ‘happy birthday’ napkins and a happy birthday helium balloon which was just such a special touch. Thankyou for always making our meals here special. Can’t wait for our next visit!
amazing Black pudding scotch egg
we had the Sea sharing board and all the fish was so fresh and the pickles delicious.
i ordered some fries with Saracha and hoisin sauce.
my friends had the Haggis toastie and they highly recomended that.
the beer was good
the young lady and young man serving us were very attentive.
my friends booked again to go next week with there other friends as they live near there.
Nice pub and very unique we had a lovely waitress called Ruby a very professional and friendly young lady a credit to the establishment.
The food was nice rather large portions to much for my wife but no problem Ruby boxed the half of the roast beef sandwich for us to take away.
Quite difficult to park hence the 4 stars.
Don’t bother ordering for delivery. They never deliver. But will accept your order, only to cancel it within 10 minutes and then update their just eat page with “deliver from tomorrow”.
Popped in for food and a drink and glad we did. We got a warm welcome, dog friendly and as we were senior citizens food was half price and tasty, all washed down with a nice pint.
Food safety procedures don’t exist.
No gloves wear and direct hands on food like grated cheese. Staff on their phones after washing hands and come back straight to touch food without washing again and gloves. Touching clothing, objects and face and straight tooling of food. Dirty nails with chipped nail varnish. No regard to allergies and allergens. I do not recommend!
Reported.
Chow mein had to be thrown the smell was repulsive, sauces were too thick and cold.ribs had no meat, chicken balls had little chicken that was dry and way to thick breading. The fried rices were 👍🏼 and the only thing really worth eating and for £70 was left feeling unsatisfied. Came back to turn to one star after throwing up in the night.
It is a few years since visiting this rightly popular establishment. I was not disappointed! The ambience, service, food and drink were all to a very high quality. The fish pie was excellent with a significant amount of varying fish pieces. Thank you Simon and the team 👍👌
25 people of retirement age were served with a splendid 3 course lunch from a pre-selected menu. The food was delicious and served by the friendly staff. Elaine & Brian were most helpful with the menu choices and with the organisation of the dining room to seat us all comfortably. Thank you to you all
