The best restaurants in Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

I stop here quite often when travelling as it is convenient. Area always seems very dirty , I appreciate it's a busy service station but other businesses within the complex manage to keep their areas clean and tidy . Always lots of staff but they seem to get in each other's way and don't appear to work cohesively together . Service is usually very slow and although the coffee is usually ok , the one I purchased on Saturday 24th August 2024 was probably one of the worst I've ever had in a costa

Good size portions, freshly cooked, great value! China Garden is cash only but there is an ATM across the street.

Really great curry recommended by my brother in law. Really rate the garlic chilli chicken and the egg pilaf. The lime pickle isn’t to be slept on. Definitely worth a go if you’re into your Indian fusion.

Ordered early at 6pm online to have food arrive at 7:15 8pm still no delivery! Called to find out what was going on said it was out for delivery. 8:25 it finally arrived but no sweet and sour sauce with a dish. This was a £65 order. Had to call again, but too busy to get through for another 15 minutes before someone could pick up the phone. Said they would drop it off asap. It arrived within 10 minutes which was fast but a meal we should have been eating as a family at 7:15 ended up at 8:45. Not the best service my advice is order 2 hrs before you plan to eat

Fabulous food and drink. Loved the pain au raisin and flat white especially. Excellent service from Natasha. She could not have been more helpful or professional. Will visit again!

I cannot comment on the rooms, we only called in for dinner. Parked in the village and walked up to Brimham Rocks. After a nice walk out it was only right that we call into the local public house for a well deserved meal and beer. I will keep it simple... the welcome was polite and friendly, the beer was spot on, the menu, was varied enough, but also not that big to be confusing. The food!!.. perfect!!! We had, Royal oak burger, Hunters Chicken , and slow brazed lamb shank... All meals were fantastic, and for me.. without question some of the best food I have had while out walking in a long time. I will be returning in the future as its well worth a visit.

We visit anchor at whixley on a Saturday for the carvery once every 4 to 6 weeks and have done so for a few years now. It,s always been unbeatable quality BUT today was terrible. The portion of Pork was small and tough and half of what was on my plate was pure tough fat. (See photo) So disappointed never had this before and may give it a miss in a few weeks spread our wings and give somewhere else a go.

Just called in for a coffee to take away. This is the better Neros in harrogate. Very friendly staff. Pity outside seating as gone now. It's a better vista than the other Neros?

Just had our 2nd Kebab meal from Zorro and wow guys. Definitely worth a visit. Good value and large portions for the price. Friendly guys at the counter and who helped advise us what to get.

This was a return visit for Sunday lu ch. Three of has had beef and one of us pork. All meals were absolutely superb. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. Value and quality can not be faulted.

Fantastic little sandwich shop, I used to go on a regular basis when I worked in Knaresborough. Food is always freshly made for you and the staff are really friendly and offer great customer service.

We booked the Old Bell for our Christmas party and can not fault either the service or the food. We all opted for the three course Christmas Set Menu, and all of the options were superbaly presented, hot and absolutely delicious! The front of house staff were friendly and looked after us well, whilst the kitchen team sent our meals with a perfect pause between courses. Highlights are definitely the sea bream & risotto and the gravalax. An excellent night, and well enjoyed by everyone who attended!

Haven't had a Perfect Base for a long while but glad we tried something different. The food (pizzas and chips) was searing hot when delivered...and very delicious. Thanks
