Under new management, used to be so much better. I can't recommend them anymore

The server who greeted us was lovely. She was kind, chatty&even wished our daughter a happy birthday. We reserved but she gave us 2 options of where to sit. Food was delivered quickly&was hot. Everyone enjoyed it. There was 6 of us. They even went above&beyond by phoning us when our daughter left her birthday cards behind so we could turn back to collect them. Overall we enjoyed our experience&the prices are great too. Thanks for making the Mcleish's party a fab one!

Just had food here and it’s was amazing. Was able to mark camper in car park. Great staff and great pub highly recommended

Just popped in for a drink and a bite to eat while the little one was at her class next door. Firstly an excellent pint of proper ale. Definitely a promising start. Then I selected the small roast of the day at £7.99. I decided on the gammon thinking this would be a sensible choice. Clearly whatever meat you pick will have to be reheated. The meal came and thank goodness I didn't go large. 2 thick slices of gammon, Yorkie pud, roast and mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, cauli and cabbage. Just excellent value for money. My oh had picked the veg lasagna. This wasn't the best and lots of cheese on it. I might have knocked off half a star if it was possible but it's not unusual for the veggies choice not to be that great. Can't comment on the accommodation but as a pub that does food I would recommend.

Thank you Canton for yet another fabulous tasty takeaway. I ordered Sweet and Sour king prawns succulent and flavoursome.Egg fried rice was lovely has was the crispy seaweed. Quality food not many can deliver these days.

Food is delicious, cooked to order

a real full English, freshly made to order, toast, coffee, fresh fruit and cereals or yogurt if you wanted them. Wonderful!

Sells dodgy donner meat what tasted off and moldy rand up for little refund back for it and the guy was rude agreed the donner tastes off and hangs phone up yet again rude so rang back the guy was absolutely arrogant will never buy again sort yourselfs out be respectful not rude idiots

That was thee most disgusting chicken rice I have ever had, so dry it could have been made last week and I was physically sick after it. Been a customer of theirs for years but won't go back again.

Check your order and be careful if they say something they don't wish to follow through with. I order most weekends. Day before New Years eve, ordered my normal meal, delivery to the hotel I stay at when up working for EMAS. Delivered but when I got to my room, it was the wrong food. I don't like eating off the bone. Rang, and very nice conversation where offered a free meal when I am back up. Rang today, explained I was told a free meal was to be arranged, lady went off to check, came back and said OK, what is it I'm ordering. Normal order arrived, told they have knocked off 1 dish from the bill. Not a free meal. Rung whilst delivery driver was here and told I still have to pay. Handed food back to the driver as I don't carry cash if I don't need to so actually couldn't pay for my free meal. Ambulance service technician now looking for new chinese for the weekly orders. Review and details also passed onto ambulance service colleagues that were using chinese. Now looking for different chinese in Scunthorpe. Reviews go a long way unfortunately, good and also poor.

Jesus wept. The pizza was bloody lovely. The chicken kebabs are beautiful. (Could do with a pitta bread mind) So happy with this place. Get a thin crust ...it's fab. I'm working my way through the menu. Hasta la vista,baby
