Beautiful village, nice pub, landlord Andy was quite hospitable, rooms were basic but warm and comfortable. Food at the pub was basic pub menu but cooked well and ok. All in all a good stay and value for money.

Excellent quality, service and price. Whenever I'm in the area this is my go too chippy, never had any bad food. Strongly recommend.

The only positive for us was its dog friendly. Went on a Sunday after a walk round the nearby waterfalls and we fancied a Sunday roast after. Really regret going here as it was overpriced frozen food. The beef was OK but everything else was frozen, tiny portion and swimming in runny gravy. For the price I'd expect fresh veg, rest roasties, fresh mash, stuffing ect. If I was ever in the area again I certainly wouldn't go back for food sadly.

Our first trip to Leyburn ruined by this cafe experience. Went with my you family. You need a pin to go the dingy toilet, there are signs everywhere telling you not to do something, it says it’s dog friendly but it definitely is not children friendly, the menu is overpriced, the staff are rude, it is called a cafe and does not act as a cafe, the old male waiter needs to be let go as he makes unkind comments that make you feel uncomfortable. I only stayed as we were very hungry, but really should’ve walked out and got a meal deal from the co-op. I will not be returning and urge all to not bother in the first place. I am surprised that it is even open.
