Lovely little place to visit on an evening. Rattler on tap too which is a bonus.

It was so busy, on the lead up to Christmas on what I call "black eye friday", we were served promptly, the food was spot on and staff although completely rushed off their feet, couldn't do enough for us, they were fantastic.

Not been here for a while but not impressed tbh, small fish and chips with a can £8.10, I didn’t know dick Turpin was still at it. Very average food, last time for me 😟

The quality of food served here has deteriorated dramatically over the last year. Sometimes overcooked and sometimes undercooked. The staff aren't pleasant. If it wasn't for the fact that this venue is chosen for convenient get togethers then we wouldn't go. What has happened to the lovely food and nice staff of the past?

Of the 4 meals ordered only 1 was satisfactory. On her hake dish my friend had blackened, bad potatoes, some not cooked properly and certainly not "crushed". My husband had soggy batter on his fish and the peas were cold within a couple of minutes. I had soggy croutons, toasted on only one side on my "classic" Caesar salad. The fourth dish was a pizza, which was described as "OK". We did complain and the waitress was very apologetic, as was the other member of staff who came to our table. What was surprising was that we were the only 4 people in the restaurant - and on a Saturday evening! Based on this experience we are very unlikely to return.

I will never visit this place again. No point whatsoever in drive through!! Fast food???? Took 35 mins from start of drive through to going in to collect my food. Very slow.

To the owner of the fairways, you do not deserve your staff. The fairways is MASSIVELY understaffed, the staff are rushing round like something demented, one person trying to do the work of 3. Sunday lunchtime - one bar staff serving drinks and doing orders for lunch. One young girl in the restaurant serving meals , clearing tables and wiping tables and setting them PLUS taking bookings. The chef, cooking meals, filling up the veg containers, serving lunch and carving meat. We have been going for Sunday lunch every week for over 2 years and as staff have left they have not been replaced. Something needs to be done before they start losing custom.

Paid £3.80 for a portion of chips to go with something we had already cooked. I can honestly say they were the worst chips I have ever had. They were tough and tasted like cardboard. They must have been kept in the warmer for ages. Said it before but I definitely won't be back. Disgusting.

Was a nice place but the new set up is a joke....queued for 40 mins to get served and it was very hot in there....a customer even passed out and I'm sure it was due to the long wait and heat.... People were leaving the queue and saying they would go somewhere else... Looking at the set up it would not take much to speed it up but you keep flogging a dead horse....either sort it or shut it...most people were elderly and really do not need to stand for that amount of time... Table service would have been better but this has to be the worst set up I have ever seen in a cafe and this was a Monday afternoon... Please avoid this place until it's sorted....

It's a McDonald's, they're all the same, you know exactly what to expect? Not this one, it's rubbish! Having squeezed into the one available parking space (it's a small car park) we ventured in. Ordering was fine, using the touch screen thingy, until it offered table service. Usually I take this option so as to sit with kids whilst waiting, but although it was offered, it isn't available as there are none of those numbered little tent do dads, or even a place where they should be held! So I then get to linger around the counter for the next 25 minutes (yes, really) for an order to arrive that looked like mine (no receipt available, so no number to watch on screen). Whilst waiting I did notice many people visiting the till to report missing or wrong items, bodes well, and a huge number of staff with very little productivity. Food finally in hand I rejoin my kids, who have begun fighting from boredom / hunger, to discover one burger wrong and anemic chips. Kids wanted a McFlurry, but not risking that wait again. Add to that, some of the worst smelling toilets I've frequented in a good long while. AVOID!
