The best restaurants in Wickersley Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

Have been coming here for a few years now. More recently most weekends for breakfast. Always a friendly welcome by all the staff. Food is spot on. Coffees are always decent. A nice relaxed atmosphere. Thanks guys :)

This morning I was due to visit with 2 friends at 10am. I have a puppy so I tried to call from 9am at opening up to 9.45am before I set off and no answer. I left a message but no reply. I checked trip advisor and it said dog friendly as are most places now. When I arrived my friends were sat inside and waiting for drinks. I asked if I was OK to bring dog in they said only outside. Well it's February and 5 degrees. I mentioned I had called and Trip Advisor said dog friendly but all I got was yes just outside. I said well it needs to be made clear. What upset me the most was not that I had to leave but, not one member of staff came out to me to apologise for not answering phone or that Trip Advisor was misleading. Totally ignored and humillillating. My friend came out to hold the dog whilst I went in to say hello to my other friend and still nothing from staff 🙃. Totally disappointed 😞

I had a great experience ordering over the phone. The guy on the phone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and made the selection process easy. Excellent customer service – I highly recommend this service! Food was was amazing too.

Absolutely disgusting never ever will I have this chip shop again my partner went for it for our tea he got mixed kebab meat in a tray we'll one piece of donn meat and chicken meat well there was nothing there for £5.90 I don't no how they can change that to get nothing I got a kids meal and that was freezing and I live 2 mins away its all gone in bin never ever again

We visited as a party of 12 family members for my 8 year olds birthday. Food was well priced and arrived quickly.

We order from here most nights, it’s absolutely amazing, they take our order and say it will be around 30-40 minutes, we accept this reasonable time, and some how it comes early most of times. The food is always cooked to standard, and tastes really nice, this is by far the best Chinese I have ever had, well done Golden Bowl 🍲

Food was fantastic. We have lived on Woodlaithes for 9 years and been frequent visitors to the pub. When we first moved here it was excellent. However since then the food has been worse than poor for the majority of this time. Tonight, we decided to give the food another chance and I’m so glad we did. It was exceptional - fresh, tasty and plenty of it . Extremely good value for money and back to the woodman of old. Well done!!

I am celiac and I love Chinese. I thought those days were over until I found this takeaway. The food is so delicious and a very generous portion. The price is great too considering how much people with dietary requirements get ripped off. I highly recommend this place

Good location but very very dated. Bed uncomfortable. Remote barely works for tv (although the next morning we discovered we were lucky to have one! Someone else was enquiring where the tv remote was and the receptionist informed them they were waiting on a delivery of new ones!) No hair dryer in the room. Old used towels from the previous guest left in the bathroom. No shower curtain so the bathroom floor floods which when there is no bath mat and only 2 bath towels (no hand towels) made it very slippy. Breakfast was ok.

Wrong pizza arrived and chips were dry, called in to complain about my food they said they will resend my order but the manager didnt want me to order again. Rude as they made the mistake

Ordered a garlic naan donner yesterday and when picking up a selected time the donner was cold & burnt ends from grill. No salad when requested salad with. Now been up early hours throwing up and now loosing a days pay. Disappointed and won't be coming again.
