The best restaurants in Filey Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Went there on Wednesday and had a lovely meal

Visited on a group night out. Food was good from the set menu and food service was quick. No table service for drinks, we had to keep getting up and going to the bar. Sadly not much of a Christmas atmosphere.

Incredible food, my son said the beef was the best he’d ever had in 24 years! I had the salmon starter and a fish dish for main. All the food was beautiful, really fine dining along with some beautiful wines. The food tasted great but was also really well plated and looked fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive and couldn’t do more for you, the atmosphere was warm and festive. A small point, but the seats were so comfortable! I have a chronic illness and chronic pain and I struggle to sit at a table for longer periods, I usually need to get up and move around but the chairs were so comfortable and it made a huge difference to the night! Great staff, perfect food and lovely atmosphere, would recommend 100% I only managed to photograph my starter as we couldn’t wait to dig into the rest!

This is a lovely place to eat. We stayed in Filey for 4 nights and had lunch here twice. Lovely decor, dog friendly, friendly and helpful staff. Food is really good, we had panini’s, mushroom stroganoff and biscoff cheesecake which was delicious!

We always liked coming here but recently they have a ridiculous rule about not letting your dog drink out of a dish you bring with you. My dog won't share water with other dogs and I don't particularly want it catching an illness, so it had to go without. Apparently it's because they think a dog will splash water on the floor and someone might slip, which could easily be fixed with some blue roll or a mop. Children spill their drinks too, but I guess that must be non-slip liquid. Will eat elsewhere in future.

Food good, just check whats in your bag by unpacking it BEFORE you leave, 2 times now different main to that what I ordered onmy to find out when I got home, despite the repeating of order thing at payment (which is embarrassing I know).

Gorgeous place to come to and is always on our list as a ' must go to'when we are in Filey. Beautiful setting and everything here is really delicious. The lemon meringue tart and coffee cake are to die for. It's lovely sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine. Sadly it was raining today and as we have a dog we couldn't go in, there was some seating under a canopy for the ice creams but sadly for us just a bit too chilly to sit out. It is cash only so that is something to always remember when visiting.

Popped in tonight at 6pm, and got a beautiful fresh cooked cod & chips and haddock & chips (with various sides and a sausage for the pup)! Absolutely perfectly cooled and not too greasy, ate the lot as did the pup! We visit Filey for our holidays each year and will be marking this chippy for our future treats!!!Thank so much 😋

We'd been walking around Filey on a wet morning and were looking for a spot of lunch. This place fitted the bill, service is friendly and we both had the soup of the day - clam chowder which came with a bread roll.

What a great coffee shop, quite spacious inside. Fantastic drinking chocolate. We decided to have lunch here and were not disappointed, very nice! Frothies is definitely worth a visit!

Lovely little coffee shops. Only had a hot chocolate, but it was huge with lots of cream and marshmallows! Dog friendly and a good sized menu, food looked good and friendly staff!

We enjoyed a lovely birthday meal here whilst on holiday in Filey. We went early as we have a young child but were pleased with the happy hour offering between 5 &6pm. Delicious garlic mushrooms to start and the calzones didn’t disappoint either. It was a quick and friendly service and we look forward to returning!

This is a great little cafe we had breakfast there and it was superb couldn't fault it I had bacon.2 sausages 2 fried eggs a tomato grilled and ,2 slices of toast you could also have baked beans and mushrooms but I don't like them. The staff were so friendly and nice all in all a great place. Would visit it again. Anne waller

Opening times laughable in the height of the season. At 945am still not ready to serve though they are supposed to open at 9. Stood at the counter for 5 mins and was deliberately ignored by two staff gossiping. Rather tarnished our view of Filey. Great though that the owners don't need the business.

I love this pub! Friendly staff, down to earth people, and calm! Just where I want to be after a long walk on the beach or a mooch around the shops in Filey.
