Came here in November to try the carvery for the 1st time. Best carvery we've had in years and years! Loads of veg, beautiful meat. Actually tasty and fresh! Staff were really friendly and helpful too so bonus. Thank you!

Lovely staff who were very knowledgeable and kind about allergens. Loved the dairy free ice cream! Made my day to find it there. Thank you so much!

Best fish and chips by far. Regular haunt when in Filey. Well recommended.

Lovely place to eat , staff and owner are absolutely cracking. Had the most amazing starts and a pasta special with nduja which was stunning the wine to go with this was also excellent quality we had red and rose and our only problem was we were too full to try the gorgeous looking desserts

Fabulous little bar/ bistro. Exceptional owners, Karen & Neil and fantastic bar staff. We were in the bar on NYE , oh what a superb night from beginning to the end . Anyone visiting Filey, this bar is a must, you will not be disappointed

What was Cobble Bar and Bistro is now called the Bay View Restaurant, which is why it is reported as being permanently closed. This has been our choice of eating places in Filey for a number of years, and we were happy to find the name is the only thing that has changed. It was a bit breezy to sit on the terrace, but it is bright and light inside, and you can still enjoy the view. There is a wide choice of food, with substantial portions, with efficient and friendly service, at sensible prices.

An impromptu visit from York to Filey yesterday, most fish and chips places closed for the season I guess but then saw CJ’s, brilliant. Parked opposite and over to takeaway! Bought 2 lots of fish & chips, and 2 coffees. Lovely staff, friendly. Really good fish ample portions and great chips! Served in box, wrapped well, carrier bag. Great service. Couldn’t have been better! Parked by the seafront and thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you CJs made our day!

This has to be one of the best takeouts we have had in a long time. Korma not too sweet and sickly, tikka masala to die for. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Visited Filey today and wanted Fish and Chips. What a stroke of luck to come across Dicky Bees, takeaway. Had one cod chips and peas and one cod chips and curry. Wow the fish was as good as we have ever had. Large meaty with a nice batter, not too thick. The chips and sides were tasty. The cost of £21.00 or both I didn't feel was over the top for the quality and quantity. Next time I visit Filey I will be going again.

First time we had stopped here. Freshly made to order sandwiches, with a selection of bake goods - savoury and sweet - available to buy. I opted for a beef, check and onion sandwich with a Filey Fatty Rascal, and a plum crumble tray bake. Staff were friendly and polite. Great choice for a mobile lunch, although I should have asked if the rascal could have been buttered. 

Their website suggested we booked. We tried to call the restaurant from 3pm (as suggested). Got engaged tone each time we called. When the phone finally rang we got the answer machine. Decided to try our luck, turned up at 5.15 to be turned away. Pretty disappointed. Gave 2 stars because the menu looked nice.

We have been coming here for years. Usually very impressed but bread was not fresh today and it spoilt it. What a shame because it was otherwise very nice.

Poor breakfast very disappointed Tinned mushrooms were inedible. Sausage was deep fries Coffee dissapointing.Before this cafe changed hans it was exceptional. Wonderful Breakfasts and salads. Won't be back.
