We had the pleasure of spending one night at this renovated hotel, complete with newly access to the spa and breakfast. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The spa area was truly a highlight—an oasis of relaxation. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of fresh, high-quality options, and the gym was the perfect way to start our morning. Everything felt pristine, with a delightful newness and impeccable cleanliness throughout. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional, ensuring every detail of our stay was seamless. The hotel’s modern facilities, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and located right by the sea, create an atmosphere of pure tranquility. It’s the ideal destination for anyone seeking comfort in a breathtaking setting.

Hemos utilizado este café en catorce ocasiones en nuestras visitas a Whitby / Sandsend. A veces para la comida - otras veces bebidas. Siempre satisfecho. Salieron a tomar unas copas el 29/12 y fueron tan decepcionantes. Los chocolates calientes de lujo tenían crema barata y eran delgados y débiles (ciertamente no eran una marca de lujo), la olla de té estaba bien. A alrededor de £ 4 la bebida (chocolates calientes £ 4. 50) era una parada en boxes cara. Usaremos uno de los otros cafés en el futuro.

Encantadora ubicación y ambiente. Amistosa bienvenida y conocedor, ecléctica colección de vinos. Encontré mi comida sosa - entrante de vieiras, fletán principal y trío de pequeños pudines de los cuales el merengue de lima era sabroso pero estándar de supermercado de esponja de fresa. Otros disfrutaron de sus garras de ceab y mariscos platos de mañana

Acogedor pub con un menú excelente, inusual y creativo. Todo se cocina por encargo lo que, comprensiblemente, lleva algún tiempo. El servicio es amable y eficiente y todo el establecimiento tiene una sensación encantadora. Muy recomendable para una comida con una diferencia en la zona Whitby.

We are staying locally a d wish we had found this pub earlier in the week. A warm welcome a d great food. My husband had chicken pie and i had the sea bass. Good portions, well cooked and piping hot. We had bread and butter pudding and rice pudding afterwards. Again both excellent 👌.

Llegó un viernes a la hora del té sin poder encontrar alojamiento en Whitby debido al Mercado de Navidad. Los propietarios y el personal, en particular Jack, mostraron una gran amabilidad y se esforzaron por ayudarme. Arreglaron wi-fi ya que no tenía señal. Luego abrieron una cabaña de pastores en su campamento donde me quedé a pasar la noche. Así que fui capaz de permanecer en el acogedor pub con un fuego real, comer una cena encantadora y charlar con otros clientes amistosos para la noche. Just had the most gorgeous Sunday roast. I had Lamb and husband had Beef. Both equally good. Everything was perfectly cooked. Just wish we lived nearer so we could go more often. We'll worth walking up the hill. Can't recommend it enough. Very good and friendly staff.

Nos encontramos con esta joya escondida, ya que los restaurantes Whitby estaban tan ocupados con todas las multitudes góticas. Entró en una cálida bienvenida. El pub es pequeño y hermoso. Jugamos un juego de mesa para la corta espera de comida. Nuestra mesa de 4 tenía Chili Con Carne, sandwich de atún Mayo, tocino y envoltura de halloumi y pollo tierno. La comida era deliciosa y tan razonable precio! Buena elección de bebidas alcohólicas y no alcohólicas. Comida recién cocinada, fabuloso servicio al cliente y hermosas vistas. Volveremos. Gracias por una visita tan agradable.

Excellent stay five of us came for a Wedding night at Danby Castle, we got off the train at Danby and could not get any mobile signal, a lady contacted the hotel and the manger came down and picked us up in two runs. The food is excellent and the hotel is lovely and clean. The bed is incredibly comfortable. Everything is explained to you up on arrival, and nothing seems to be any trouble. Thank You.

Good value food variety on the menu - staff would even do what you wanted if it wasn’t on the menu - friendly staff who seemed interested in the guests

. WENT HERE THIS AFTERNOON. 10TH AUGUST. £7 FOR 2 PIECES OF BACON AND DRY BUN, NOT AND I MEAN NOT RECOMMEND. YOU SHOULD WEAR MASKS AS YOUR ROBBING PEOPLE WITH THE PRICES YOU CHARGE. DISGUSTED. PLEASE PEOPLE AVOID THIS PLACE.
