The best restaurants in Tadcaster East Selby Yorkshire and The Humber

Never fails to deliver brilliant home cooked food. Visit often but the steak and kidney pie last week was truly outstanding. As a southerner in Yorkshire so few places actually do kidney with most being ale or just steak. It was jam packed with both steak and kidney, all delicious. Soups are something else too. Sandwiches are always fantastic, fresh and full of excellent fillings. A big shout out not only to Lisa but especially the lovely Ellie out front

Very small very crowded and a little claustrophobic

Best chippy in town !!! The food is phenomenal. Generous portions and great pricing. All the staff are really pleasant and the manager knows how to bring a smile to your face. 100% recommend !

My friend and I had a wonderful lunch today. Really tasty veggie Thai curry from the board followed by raspberry Bakewell tart and gingerbread hot chocolate. Prompt service and friendly staff.

Not sure why Trip Advisor still claiming this is the top Indian eatery in Tadcaster. It was closed when we went out of our way to visit and there was no sign of it re-opening

Quite possibly the nicest soup I've ever tasted! Perfect delicate flavour, served beautifully. We also had the chicken shwarma, which was delicious! Loved the way the flatbread was heated till perfectly golden.

Lovely little takeaway. Able to taste the different flavours of the items in the dishes. Some of the dishes we had were a little oily but this didn’t distract from the enjoyment or flavours. Large portions. Cooked fresh but not long waits.

Had an amazing night tonight at the coach and horses definitely recommend it to anyone friendly staff good people in there enjoyed it

Casi me pierdo el cruce para esto en la oscuridad de la A 64, ya que no hay señales iluminadas y no había luces en la A 64, donde era tan peligroso para los coches detrás, también con nosotros teniendo que romper de repente No hay mucho ambiente dentro y el personal no tenía una sonrisa entre ellos El pollo tikka fue el peor que he probado. ¡Vino en un plato, no en un plato chispeante y estaba todo arrugado junto a una ensalada! ¡Incluso los pocos pimientos y cebollas sabían extraños al lado! I liked the place. A warm welcome on arrival. Great beer served by very friendly young team. Lovely menu with super variety. The food was delicious, plentiful and presented well. The young man waiting tables was attentive polite and very personable. Great atmosphere, obviously liked by the locals. Will definitely recommend to the travelling Argyle Green Army when we come this way.

Han pasado tantas veces por delante durante años sin probarlo - finalmente lo hicieron y fue bastante bueno en realidad. Curris sabrosos, buenos chapatis, entrantes decentes. No es la derrota mundial y no es la más barata, pero ciertamente he tenido mucho peor.
