The best restaurants in Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

Absolutely disgusting food last night! Not ordered a Chinese takeaway in 6 months & unfortunately made a BAD choice! The chips clearly were reheated & as for the Salt & Pepper Squid, it was definitely the night before’s left overs, warmed up, for over £6 a dish, there were only 6 pieces of squid, it was SO chewy AWFUL! Rest of the food was bland, is an understatement. We were so disappointed, at-over £32, what a waste of money.

We enjoyed visiting Ciro for some late evening food in a Saturday. 4 of us had delicious lamb kebabs with rice and salad and large wedges of Turkish bread, all served on nice plates with proper cutlery. £11 is almost too cheap! Barry is a very friendly host and we’re all looking forward to returning.

Sausage, Egg, Chips and Beans with a cuppa T. Bob on. Lashings of S an V ont chips an thas ont t a winner fo sure. Only downt side is they have that Radio 1 bobbings on box wi aerial in corner and the canne get any internettings ont phone in dere. Oh and ayi that lass behind counter has a lovely pair of quiches on a friday.

I recently visited Apna Cury House located at 616 Staniforth Road, Darnall, and I must say, it was a delightful breakfast experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it an ideal spot to start the day. The breakfast options were both diverse and delicious. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality. The dishes were well-prepared, and the presentation was appealing. It was clear that they take pride in serving great food. Overall, I highly recommend Apna Cury House for breakfast. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit for a satisfying and fresh meal!
