First time having a Chippy T from here after being recommended by a friend and couldn't fault it , service was excellent and the fish n chips n Yorkshire caviar ( mushy peas ) tasted superb and weren't greasy at all , certainly visit again . Service was very quick & efficient to serve up excellent food .

Great restaurant with a seasonal changing menu. Which is two courses for a set price most of the time, brilliant value with a relaxing atmosphere.

Excellent New Years Eve Murder Mystery party. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the effort that went into the murder mystery was just outstanding! They had catered for everyone food wise and game wise. Quizzes on the table that lead to clues for those less inclined to mingle and fantastic scripts for those that really wanted to get involved. The bonus rounds were hilarious. Massive thanks and congratulations to the event organisers. It was brilliant, I’d highly recommend and hope to be back next year to improve my mystery solving skills!

Visited for our anniversary, so we got bit dressed up, tho could have gone more dressed down. Would have been comfy either way. Staff very attentive & efficient. Atmosphere was pleasantly buzzing. Food fabulous, could not fault.

The service from Lulu was exceptional! Engaging conversation, efficient and friendly!!! Fantastic food and drinks and a lovely cosy environment- the roaring fire is an added bonus !

My chicken balti was amongst the finest curries I ever eaten. Rich, deep flavourful sauce, big chunks of quality chickenbreast. A lovely naan bread to boot, perfect size for one. The onion bhaji starter was spot on too. Great service.

Fit us in last minute on new year's eve, lovely staff and moved us to a table more suitable for a high chair when it became available. Wonderful food too.

Second time eating at this wonderful, welcoming restaurant the quality of food was so good am going to be dreaming about it tonight, I highly recommend this place for those who wish to have a family meal or as a romantic meal for 2 the owner is very welcoming and treat us like family, will be back again for sure very satisfying!! The food is made with love and care as so are the customers

Wow what can I say I gpt recommend by a lad i work with who lives in the area said to try and I'm not disappointed what so ever chips and fish cake was the best I've had in ages I work local to here and this is my now go to fish and chop shop

Rude new landlord running the place into the ground. Aside from Cat Club it retains none of the creative, eccentric atmosphere it was known for. Now just another bog standard Ponte drinking hole full of rough blokes. Very unwelcoming.
