Took 91 yr old dad as he says he’s an expert on Sunday carvery’s and he loved it! We all said it was like Sunday lunch from your mums kitchen ! Praise indeed!!!! All staff friendly helpful service good beer and food excellent! There will be more visits to Thatched House but will book a table as it’s popular and people are going to this gem of a pub ! Just ordered the chicken wrap deal.. amazing offer. 2 chicken wraps with salad & garlic sauce.. big portion of chips each & a can of Dr Pepper. Super fast delivery, food piping hot & tasted amazing. Will definitely be ordering again 😊

We were travelling from Lytham St Annes to Beverley when we wanted lunch. We found this great cafe only 5 mins from M62 jct 30 What a hidden gem. Lovely decor inside , outside seating also available, great menu, fantastic prices . Full English with unlimited tea and toast only £5 and served until 1:30 Staff very friendly too with lots of cakes also available. Highly recommended

Been a few times now for my work lunch as I work nearby. Always great, tend to go on a Friday lunch time. And good prices too. Would recommend to anyone.

Called in for tea and cake and it was lovely. Bright, clean, vintage crockery, lace table cloths, lace sugar bowl covers, friendly staff, great selection on the menu. The only slight critisim was there was only one type of cake on offer. However I will be telling all my friends they should visit.

Tried the Jolly Fryers on my last visit to Castleford. Everything was fried fresh, the fish was large and good quality, the portion of chips was large and well prepared. The cost was £5.75 which is good value. The service was welcoming and friendly.

Ordered 2 x kebabs, very disappointed, should have come with salad and in a nan. Kebab meat on top of a pitta bread with sauce. For amount we paid was expecting better.

Gorgeous fish n chips (scollops too). Scraps very generous.Price wise brilliant!Would definitely recommend.Anything left over reheated in air fryer....still as light and fresh as the day it was fried.Absolutely gorgeous.

Amazing food, I will definitely be telling all my friends and family to venture here to try. I had Pad Thai , chicken Statay and rice . All cooked extremely well , tasty and lots of it.
