Great to be back safe friebdly place to have a coffee or a meal.

We were staying at the nearby Ibis hotel. Found this pub nearby. Friday night appeared to be dead. Saturday night there was a Karaoke which was entertaining. Sunday afternoon the Elton John tribute was brilliant. Heard the live turns were all good. Brilliant atmosphere and happy faces.

Excellent no nonsense food brilliant choice not skimpy portions when we are in Wakefield we allways go here.

Our last order for 3 pizza's was £50. You are now 30% more expensive than Dominoes after their 50% off pizza promo is applied. And to top it off you have arrogant little teenage girls answering the phone! And all for 'cash only' govenor. Have you lost your minds!!!

The best fish and chips in Wakefield and always a welcome smile from the staff. Really good value for the cost highly recommended..

I’ve passed this place hundreds of times but have never been in. We went in on a very busy night with a funfair going on over the road. Even though it was busy they catered to our ever evolving none menu order. The staff are very friendly and the food was superb. Definitely be back 👍

Had the best wedding reception at Unity Hall on 1st June 2024. Shellie was amazing from beginning to end, nothing was too much trouble, she went out of her way to make our celebration special & unique. Cannot thank her & the bar staff enough.

Enjoy the food, always reliable, family owned and friendly. Now provides bank transfer as it does not take cards. Great takeaway on Friday.

In and out..service fine..food OK but not ordering the soft noodles anymore as there not that good but rest was fine

Shanghai takeaway is the very best takeaway in Wakefield... Amy and the other ladies are fantastic both delivery drivers are amazing with my daughter we always order every other Saturday when mum n dad come for tea. They always know who we are when we ring and always happy to hear from us when we ring. Rather than saying what's your address they say "go on what we having tonight" 💞 fantastic makes you feel really appreciated. Shanghai 10/10. Pengyou's for life
