The woodman has a lovely landlord/lady. Which is lovely an̈d the people are great. Bad side is, dogs can and do sit on seats and have seen dogs eating of plates on the tables. The toilets are still in the 70s and stink of piss. This isn't a one off either, they are terrible. Good points are it has a large beer garden and host very good bands in the summer.

Just not good enough and definitely not as good as they think it is. Not very clean, most items seem to have a layer of dust on them, quite cold and unwelcoming atmosphere (on a weekend!) & staff. The appalling surprise came at the till where we were assaulted by the pungent foul odour of dog urine. The upside is that it wasn't at all busy. Clearly the locals know there are better options in the area.

It's a great place to have drinks the beer garden is nice and private plus there is a pool table witch is always a bonus.

Wouldn’t recommend unless you fancy being robbed. Came in today for the first and last time, got a coffee and handed the woman a £20 note. She gave me the change for a £10. I noticed it after a while and went back to tell her, where she blatantly called me a liar in front of her manager saying “she gave me £10, she definitely gave me £10.” Rather impossible considering i only had 2x £20 notes on me at the time. I asked them to check their CCTV in that case since I wasn’t lying, the manager said he would be 3-4 minutes while he checked, waited, went back and asked then he said another 5 minutes, waited, went back and asked, then the woman said they didn’t have the password to access the CCTV, at this point I just wanted to leave, it was meant to be a quick coffee, but also wanted my £10 that she stole, I said it’s either you give me MY money so i can leave or we can get the police to see the CCTV, she soon gave me my £10. Funny.

About 50 of us attend a funeral tea for my father in law at the Kirklands. Honestly couldn't fault it. The food was fantastic and plentiful, coffee and tea kept flowing and the service from the staff was very professional and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Great venue, food and the Abba Trubute girls were fantastic! We all had a fabulous time! Will be back soon! Merry Christmas

Had my last one today due to moving away from the area but yeah was the best one ever, they did me a cas tigers special absolutely bloody awesome, few places I'll miss and this is one of them, foods always great staff are brilliant couldn't ask for more, thanks guys for feeding us over the years bosh

Great local takeaway with friendly staff, very good food at a reasonable price. We are happy every time we order from Lee Cottage. The set menu meals are really good value for money, excellent prawn toast, nice Chinese chips and the fried rice is perfect.. the Beef in black bean sauce is a favourite.

One of the most friendly and great pubs! Great prices! Amazing atmosphere anf claire and andy are also great down to earth and welcoming! A great local and the weekends in here are absolutley brilliant

Halal authentic Chinese, salt and pepper chicken is the best.

Half an hour before closing and they don't have any chips.

It was mid. Friend works here so a bit less mid. They don't make dumplings too. Not chinese. Boo.
