Avoid this place at the moment on the run up to Christmas. Despite our party being booked in with reserved tables, the food service operation was chaotic. 15 minute queue to pay up front fr the carvery buffet, then 30 minute queue to actually get food. One lad (who looked ill) carving the meat and every time he ran out of food / plates/ whatever he’d have to disappear into the kitchen to get more. The food hot plates had little boards above each dish and the clearly hadn’t been changed over from breakfast service and neither had the area been cleaned down as dried breakfast beans & other spilled items dotted around. The food in the main wasn’t that bad when you actually got some, but sprouts hard as bullets, crunchy broccoli (too long under the heat lamps), and leather like yorkshire puddings. no wonder all the staff looked miserable. Hmmmm as I say avoid!

We called in,( Mum, Dad, that's me, our son and his girlfriend), to take advantage of a discount on mains offer. And we weren't disappointed. Good food, well priced, and the ladies who served us were really pleasant, thankyou. Only one minor thing that rankled, was the price of my beer. £6.40. Whaaaaat. Would I go again, yes. Would I recommend others, also yes. 😃👍🍺

New Year’s Eve . Meal with entertainment . Placed in back room .Could not see or hear entertainment. Children running around unsupervised 10pm +. Uncomfortable seating . Expensive bar serving warm beers (bottles) and ran out of drinks (whiskey) barmaid offered Jack Daniel’s as alternative.Even draught larger was warm .Bar people were borderline hostile.Filling fridge up with warm bottles in front of colder ones .Food was okay but our group were dissatisfied with experience.

Great food that ots the obly place i go for burgers

Previously always loved TGI Fridays but last nights visit will definitely be my last. Freezing in there. Table was dirty on top and littered underneath. We had to ask for cutlery, napkins, salt and pepper and plates! Waitress had no knowledge of drinks. Took 45 minutes for drinks to come. A 2 hour wait for our main (the restaurant wasnt even half full) Food arrived with mistakes - ordered salad and got chips, additional sauces missed off, loaded fries instead of loaded skins. Food quality was terrible.There seems to be no one supervising anything. Lots of very young inexperienced staff. So sad to see what used to be a fabulous place to become this. Will not ever return.

The food and drinks were absolutely great, the service was fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming!

Always have a great experience here. Has excellent vegan options and is dog friendly. My favourite local place for a meal. Cant recommended this place enough.

Stunning! In what looks like a well dressed and maintained pub there is this Mediterranean restaurant. It almost feels like a secret club. Amazing and attentive staff, a wide selection of options and pretty reasonable prices too! A must try for Wakefield

We went on a Tuesday evening. Couldn't fault the waiting staff at all. The food was good and they catered for coeliacs which was helpful. All four of us had different dishes and all four of us enjoyed the food. Overall a good evening.

We had an excellent meal last night. We chose the fillet steak, it was cooked to perfection. The starters were lovely we chose garlic bread and chicken chipotle bites which were absolutely delicious. We had an offer so we were able to get one of the meals free which was excellent value. The staff were brilliant Josh and Charlotte. Josh was very good and made sure we were well catered for. A bottle of wine was £21 so quite reasonable and chilled in an ice bucket by Josh. Thank you for an excellent dining experience. Keep up the good work.

We visit this restaurant every time we travel up from Bristol to see family in Wakefield . The restaurant is great . The atmosphere is good , staff excellent . You don’t have to book which is helpful . However the food is outstanding . The Ribs are the families favourite . They are delicious . We also had Duck from the specials board which was great . We even ordered a take away extra portion of Ribs to take home back to Bristol . Many thanks to Nigel who looked after us during our meal . We’ve been coming to Rinaldis for 30 years or so . Perfectly fine Holiday Inn, but rather than trying to be a hotel has decided to focus on becoming a night club. Hosting a Christmas party to make revenue, which clearly is far more important than paying guests. Impossible to sleep in this hotel when music is playing so loudly from the DJ in reception at 1am at the morning. No warning provided. Avoid this hotel at all costs ⚠️, and this is coming from a IHG Gold member!! Just shocking.
