The best restaurants in England

Great tasty late afternoon breakfast and toasted scones. Friendly service and ambience. The cafe is a family run business and is located off the main square in Beauminster so could easily be missed. It was a Monday and most of the cafes were closed and the few that were open had only cold food so it was great to find somewhere serving warm food. Look for the orange sign on the square or outside the cafe. The cafe has artwork and crafts on display as well as books and is light and bright.

You are greeted with a lovely warm welcome and offered great advice regarding the menu choices. We were on our way to West Bromwich to watch football and normally stay overnight local to that area and always have a curry as it’s our favourite food. But as I had lived in Bicester over 40 years ago had decided on this trip to stop and reminisce and also try a local Indian restaurant. Based on the fantastic reviews we settled on Srishti’s Kitchen and what good fortune we had as the food was just wonderful. We spent a few weeks in India last year and I can genuinely say when she advertises authentic food she 100% hits the spot. The food is fresh, tasty, delicious and straight from the stove to your table. What more could you ask for …..simply wonderful and already on our itinerary for our next trip…..it’s a pity the kitchen isn’t based at the village as we could combine two wonderful experiences Lovely to meet you. Bueno... este lugar es especial, ¿no es así? Estuve en mi puerta durante bastante tiempo y sin embargo, recién lo encontré hoy, basta decir que la comida es bastante impresionante, he comido en muchos lugares durante 26 años adultos, pero esto fue, con mucho, uno de los mejores de ellos con los que me sorprendió, ya que no tenía idea de que estaba justo a mi lado: D Además de no haber bebido nunca té verde antes y como había una taza gratis con la comida la bebí esperando que fuera amarga, pero era muy agradable de hecho, así que no solo me introdujeron a la nueva comida, sino también a la nueva bebida. Volveré seguro. Recomiendo encarecidamente a otros probar su menú pequeño pero perfectamente hecho. Son un homenaje a la gastronomía independiente y a los alimentos artesanales familiares.

A new discovery and fantastic vegan cafe/restaurant just off Battersea Park Road near the library and worth looking for. If you want a healthy alternative to the ‘full english” you’ll find in abundance on this road, VIBES is perfect. A good local’s cafe and reputation for veggies & vegans - I popped in for a full vegan breakfast and ended up having a great chat with the owner and customers.

Estaba encantado de descubrir que la nueva ubicación estaba a medio camino entre mi hotel y el New Century Hall, cuando me alojé en Manchester para un concierto. La decoración es muy elegante y la comida tan sabrosa y a un precio razonable. Elegí la hamburguesa de queso con chile y patatas fritas. Sin duda volveré a comer aquí la próxima vez que esté en Manchester!

La comida era increíble, tan agradable! El personal era increíblemente amable y muy servicial. Algunos críticos dicen sobre amable, pero me pareció divertido y añadido a una gran noche. Fuimos un sábado por la noche y estaba muy ocupado, así que la reserva aconsejó. ¡El mejor indio que he tenido en años! ¡Una verdadera joya!

I visited while in the area for the day and had a lovely lunch. The coffee was really nice and there was a great selection of sweets treats. I also got some scones and quiche to take away which were amazing. A really friendly relaxing atmosphere, can't wait to visit again.

1890's Beautiful surroundings with very welcoming staff set the scene for a fabulous lunch of delicious & superbly presented food accompanied by great wine pairing & service. Looked after extremely well, thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful experience. If you get the opportunity you must go.

Absolutamente el mejor lugar para sentarse o para llevar, las porciones son enormes y se nota que todos los ingredientes son frescos. Recomendaría a todos, los consumidores de carne y verduras!

Most tastiest meal I have had for a long time. Throughly enjoyed the experience and food. The chilli squid was delicious and the chicken danshak was incredible Highly recommend

It was such a treat to go out for lunch and to not have to ask a hundred questions about ingredients and how the food is prepared. Delicious lunch for my daughter and I. Fabulous ambience and tasty food, but best of all 100% gluten free. Paradise!

This is a lovely room, set in tranquil and beautiful setting. The family that owned it were lovely and did whatever they could for us. The log fire was fantasic to sit next to as we ate a meal that competed with the 5 star buxton crescent we were at the night before. Breakfast in the morning was equally as good, the chef made me poached, scrambled and fried eggs (my request) all perfect. We felt well looked after and valued as customers. The decor/atmosphere in the pub was the only thing I thought could be improved but nothing that will prevent us from coming back again!

Best pizza we've ever eaten, we honestly can't stay away!!
