The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Best chippy in Banburyshire in my opinion (and I have certainly been to a few). The staff are very polite and efficient and the food is ALWAYS delicious.

Waited ages for delivery and when it finally arrived it was wrong and missing items. When I phoned I didn't get much of a response. Nearly 2 hours later ans still waiting for missing items!!!

Now let me start by saying I’ve eaten at many Fish & Chips establishments in London and around the U.K, from the streets of Bristol, to the beaches of Kent, this spot certainly comes close to topping the lot. The service is 2nd to none, I don’t know what the servers name is, but he could see what I wanted and needed even before I’d arrived at the door. A cod and chips for £5.00 a pop, if that’s not a bargain I don’t know what is. I always thought a decent Fish & Chips would be £8+ in London, but these guys know how to tempt in a bargain hunter like myself. The fish was fried to perfection, with crispy batter and a fresh fleshy cod fillet which was delicious. The chips were also a real treat, with it coming in at a 9/10, which is truly a marvel I can assure you, not many chippys have achieved that rating. All in all, I would highly recommend Brixton Cod, cracking service, for a good price and unbelievable fried heaven - I’ll be back, I promise you that.

La comida siempre es buena, pero desafortunadamente no recibí mi pedido completo. Le mencioné esto al conductor de la entrega que fue muy grosero y dijo que no era su problema. Debe comprobar que el pedido sea correcto antes de realizar la entrega. Luego intenté llamar a la tienda y no pude comunicarme después de varios intentos. No volvería a ordenar desde aquí simplemente por el mal servicio recibido.

The wife and myself got two cod specials tonight 22/12 we paid £15.50 the fish was warm and soggy and so was the chips pretty rubbish dinner this chip shop is hit or miss

Ordered a fish strip meal deal, the fish strips were nicely done and the chips were to die for! And the curry sauce was really nice! The staff are so friendly and the service was top notch, I highly recommended it!

Wake up its rubbish and I mean rubbish! Had a delivery to my daughters house while staying in Norwich lots of people have said don't bother it's not good, but I thought know I will give it a go and yes it's crap! Stone cold full of grease went in the bin, a message to the owners why are serving people this it's not good, wake up or close down!

First of all a nice warm welcome whe. I walked through the door. The lady at the front knew everyone’s it was like a local hub. Ordered plenty of food £50 worth, very happy, the quality of food was great and it tasted fresh and tasty. I’m just about to order another Chinese takeaway as it’s my once a month treat. Tomas

The worse fish and chips I’ve ever had the fish was so over cooked. It was dry and awful. Will definitely not be returning. £25 was not cheap for something that was so inedible.

I'd passed this place on numerous occasions, as it's not that far from where I live and I sometimes have reason to visit Wood Street, so I thought I'd give it a try one time when I fancied a bag of chips. Let's just say that the chips were of fairly average quality, and the portion was pretty stingy for the price! I had a quick look at the pre-cooked fish, and they also looked to be on the small side. I knew there was a good reason that we get our fish and chips delivered from Highland Fish Bar instead...
