The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Great non greasy cooked to order fish and chips along with other meals. Batter always crispy. Staff always friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch with beautifully cooked pan fried chicken and wonderful fresh vegetables. A generous helping too with tasty gravy to accompany it all. A great selection of desserts are on offer. Value for money too. Compliments to the chef (Chris?) you won’t be disappointed but May need to book as it’s obviously popular - and we can see why!

Really nice jacket potatoes and salads. Really generous quantity of potato and fillings. The dressing they put on the salad is honestly to die for. The red cabbage is especially moreish. Been back a few times now tbh.

Nice enough - husband really liked, I was less enamoured. Can't complain about portion size, if anything far too generous. Shop could do with looking a bit nicer (do you want to eat food from somewhere which, in the public areas, has gaffer tape on the benches and posters/cards for events that happened months ago?) I'd visit again, but only if I was hungry/it was raining heavily and didn't fancy walking a bit further from home.

I was on my own on Oxford Street and found this place for lunch. I didn’t have a reservation but was quickly seated at a table, despite being on my own (to eat at bar was also an option). Menu is really interesting. I had gorgeous clam chowder and then anchovy toast. Lots of nice cocktails and wine by the glass. Staff were superb and it was a great experience. Plus they sell lots of beautiful canned fish to take home! What’s not to love?!

Qué tarde absolutamente fabulosa en Oishii. Éramos un grupo de 30 teniendo una fiesta de Navidad en grupo social. El equipo en 1812 se inclinó hacia atrás para acomodarnos después de que fuimos decepcionados por otro establecimiento en la ciudad en el último minuto. Tuvimos el tiempo más increíble. La comida estaba deliciosa y la carne de res digamos que es la mejor que he probado en muchos años. El ambiente era perfecto, las bebidas eran knockout y el servicio era totalmente 5 estrellas y Jasmine era el anfitrión perfecto. Recomendamos encarecidamente Oishii y 1812 y esperamos celebrar la víspera de Año Nuevo en 1812 con los miembros de nuestro Grupo Social. Muchas gracias por sacar todos los stops. 5 Estrellas

I visited this chip shop and waited 25 minutes for my order. The reason being they were cooking and wrapping food for delivery guys who were coming and going. When I went in they had everything available, so there was no reason for my long wait. What annoyed me more was they took my money straight away, and because I ordered 1 regular chips, 1 large chips and a piece of cod they charged me more money. Had I said cod and chips it would have been £7.50. Instead they charged me £6.20 for the fish and £2.50 for chips (plus £3.50 for the large chips). I queried the offer but the server said I couldn't have it as I'd ordered the items individually. I became flustered. I chose this chip shop to avoid queuing; unknowing that they prioritise online orders. I won't be back.

Just tried the fried shrimps, they were lovely! Would like to try some of the other menu items next time we are at Spitalfields. They came with a dip and some really tasty samphire. Would defo recommend!

Comí aquí con un amigo, la comida era promedio nada realmente emocionante, era agradable y relajante hasta que comenzaron a tocar rimas infantiles, entiendo que había niños allí pero después del trabajo lo último que quería escuchar aquí era música infantil. Definitivamente no volverá.

Walked from Seaburn and got hungry. Stumbled across this gem. Had an interesting discussion on what scraps/batter/crackling/bits called. Very tasty well cooked fish bites (good sized pieces) and chips. Washed down with great ales at nearby Blues Micropub where you can take in your takeaway.

Some will say this place has gotten a little pricey, although it may, that's due to the times however when it comes to quality, some of the menu items are fire!!! The star is the smash burgers and fried chicken. Chicken is lovely but the burgers are out of thus world and reasonably priced to boot! I do love Crispins, great for the local community. The only complaint I would say is that the family or large portion of chips need to be larger, especially for over a £5. I wish I took photos!!!

I am a regular customer at fish n chicken, and I rate them 1st class very tasty food. But I do think the cardboard boxes they use are a complete waste of money and such a waste in general..the food is literally in the boxes for minutes then thrown away...in todays climate I think they should try going back to the old fashioned way of wrapping fish n chips in paper...fish n chips is so expensive nowadays it may help out a bit with their prices. I bought nuggets tonight and was told instead of 10 they have cut it to 9....cut out the extravagant boxes that would save them reducing the amount? Just a thought

Recientemente ha sido con amigos a la GRAN "Construir un ladrillo Lego' Exposiciones (vale la pena una visita), cuando nos preguntamos Road, el Brick Lane / Shoreditch nueva supuestamente moda zona, y vimos un restaurante que llevó nuestro lujoso, especialmente como un par de nosotros sólo comer pescado, "Sencillamente pescado'. En el cruce de Bethnal Green Road y de la concurrida Shoreditch High Street, justo al principio de la casilla Park ( Un pop-up Mall), la entrada es por pasos concretos empinados, atractivo elegante creo que no, pero obviamente creo que moderno. Hay un ascensor que entiendo. Afortunadamente, tenían espacio, así que nos fuimos.
