The best restaurants in England

Didn't eat on this occasion so can't rate the food. I would note that I concur with a comment I read regarding lack of signage... it's actually quite hard to find! If this is because of some daft rule The Council are imposing, well... Shame on Them! One thing I would suggest though is perhaps to get a rubber stamp for the (very nice & eco-friendly) bags used for the wine we purchased. The glasses we had were so good we bought a bottle! Do you have a website?

Clean,comfortable, and welcoming environment .All hot drinks of a very good standard, lovely home-made soup and a roll.

I am a regular customer to costal coffee And the food and the drinks are amazing The staff are lovely The brownies are the best and lovely and chocolatey The cakes are lovely The toasties are lovely The best one is motterella & tomato & pesto

This was my first visit to The Hut but definitely not the last. The restaurant was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Hoylake.

Lovely little pub in our local area. This was the first time we visited as it used to have a bad reputation but the new landlord has completely turned it around. Pool table, Clean, cheap, and dog friendly, what more could we ask for? Both our dogs got a treat to take home on their first visit too!

Great for a date night with your partner or catching up with your friends having a drink and nice food. Also great for families with children or for late evening drinking cocktails

Staying at a local (dire) hotel, we weren't going to give them a penny more. TripAdvisor rated this place highly and it was close by. A great find and proof that TripAdvisor does its job. The food was excellent, great value, and the service was friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

This place is fabulous, the drinks were delicious and also quite strong. The food was excellent, I recommend the battered broccoli. The decor is beautiful, the music/ atmosphere was good. The service was outstanding, staff were always checking we had enough drinks and everything was ok. Our server V was great and was happy to help us with our cocktail selections. It’s a must visit bar! We had Bottomless Brunch it was £40 and well worth the money.

One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time! For starters, I had Goats cheese wrapped in pancetta, my husband had tandoori lamb cutlets and we both had venison for mains. I asked for my venison to be cooked “no blood” and it was perfectly done. An accident at the table was dealt with quickly and efficiently, thank you, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening despite the incident. My husband and I are already planning a return visit with some other friends.

We came here for the afternoon tea and were not disappointed! Easily catering for gluten free and vegetarian. But the best part was, by far, the choice of gateaux that you get. The desserts are made into the shape of apples, cherries, leggings, hazelnuts, so sorts! Really wonderful. Definitely worth a visit if you're near, but worth booking first if you want the afternoon tea.

Quite simply our favourite place in Swanage to spend a few hours, watching the view , listening to the sea, creating memories and with Molly and her great team. The food and drink are first class and the atmosphere is unbearable

Great new owners, NOTE telephone number on trip advisor is for the old owner so please don’t call it.. Shop is based conveniently in the car park with easy access. Serving hot and cold snacks drinks and must have beach essentials. Enjoy a stroll down to the town or a stroll to the beach, great location for exploring the local area.

Went for breakfast was very nice food. Staff were very nice and friendly. Had a nice atmosphere would definitely go back.
