Expensive but incredibly worth it. Great coffee, amazing food. I’m gluten free and the GF breakfast sandwich is the best!

I see that some here are complaining about courier services or that their papanasu was returned in the net and arrived home with sauce spread, but also those who are watching: the restaurant is very good, with very good food and honestly at super convenient prices and in as for the papanas, I honestly haven't eaten better ones in other restaurants than ours. As for the staff, well, the lady there is a very polite sweetie and she'll keep an eye on you if you need anything! Don't be angry anymore, you forgot me like some people wrote on a candle...

Today I purchased 6 cheese straws from Cooplands in Driffield. These cheese straws were then carried home safely in amongst the rest of my shopping from various other shops this morning. When it came time for my sister to eat these cheese straws, she put 3 on her plate. She ate two of the 3 with no problem and then when she got to the third cheese straw she took two bites and let out a very loud “OW!” as she had bitten into something hard whilst chewing her cheese straw. She proceeded to spit out the mouthful of cheese straw she was chewing and looking at the mouthful on her plate to see if there was anything there. She gasped and said “Oh my god thats a stone” I said “don't be ridiculous theres no way” and then she picked it out of the chewed up mouthful of cheese straw and held out her hand and said “look A STONE” I couldn't believe my eyes , she was right it was a stone which she had bitten into whilst trying to enjoy her last cheese straw. Me and my sister, Jess, are appalled, horrified and disgusted that this has slipped past the quality checks. This stone could have seriously injured her teeth so thank god she realised and spat it out. This unfortunately puts an end to us purchasing baked goods at our local Cooplands. My sister is to quote her words “too traumatised to eat anything from Cooplands again”. I hope this gets picked up and reflected on and that it doesn’t happen to any other Cooplands customers. I was disappointed by everything: poor service, poor food, no Christmas decorations or Christmas menu. The service was slow and we did not feel welcome. The wine we ordered was not available and it took ages to get a bottle of wine up from the cellar. This was a Christmas meal for friends but the pub had no decorations other than left over from Halloween and a short string of Christmas guirlande over the bar. Some food portions were too small ( hake) whilst others (chicken) were too big. ( half a chicken!) Sides of greens were nothing but few leaves of different cabbage, cold and sloppy. Overall very disappointing and over priced for what the experience.

As a regular customer, I’m very disappointed with the online ordering experience. The food quality and quantity were not up to the mark and were entirely different from what we usually receive when dining in. This inconsistency is noticeable and disappointing.

Grandaughters coated chicken meal not to her liking, so left half. I took home for the dog. Took the coating off and found lots of the chicken was raw...probably why not liked. Management notified (supposedly by staff member...... no response, no apologies, no nothing. The restaurant opposite has now earned new customers

Brilliant welcome, an excellent table, and the Sunday roast? Outstanding. I’m absolutely stuffed—every bite was spot on, from the tender meat to the perfectly crispy roast potatoes. Now I’m sitting here with a double espresso, trying to work out how soon I can come back without it looking weird. If you’re after a roast that’ll ruin all others for you, the Royal Oak is the place to be. A must-visit!

Had Christmas party there, food was lovely and good well organized staff

Went for lunch with friends. The staff are lovely but the food is absolutely awful. Also the restaurant itself isn’t a nice place to sit in, it’s scruffy and drab. I would definitely not visit here again and would not recommend eating here to anyone, there are much nicer places serving good food to go to in Seaford.
