My friend and I often meet and eat at Nandos in Trinity Square, Gateshead. We love the staff and as a rule we enjoy the food. Today I tried the new Chicken Pickle burger. The overriding problem - it was cold /part frozen. The bread bun, the pickle, the 'melted' cheese and the salad garnish were very chilly. The chicken in the bun was probably warm at some stage but everything else chilled it down quickly. The plate was very cold. I complained - politely - and another Chicken Pickle burger was prepared for me. The replacement was just as bad - very cold again. I asked the server if it had started out frozen and she told me some of it did. Im sure the staff 'cooked' the burger exactly as they were told to but the finished product was very chilly and not pleasant to eat. It will not put us off Nandos but I will definitely not order the Chicken Pickle Burger. I have absolutely no problem with the staff. They are wondeful. The new Chicken Pickle Burger is uncomfortably chilled.

Fabulous location. Absolutely stunning setting for an evening dinner with friends or a cozy couples date, or even just a drink or a cocktail. Gorgeous outdoor area with the heaters, seeds, blanket/throws, all under a beautiful atrium. Menu pretty decent and mid range. Reasonable prices. All food came out pretty good and fair price. Dog friendly. Would definitely go again as a nice place to meet up with the girls for lunch/dinner/drink drinks.

Food equality was awful. Pittanall town apart and wet and soggy. Chicken undercooked. No sauce on the fino pitta poorly made. Freezing cold too. Pitta for the hummus was all stale and hard and couldn’t even bit into it it was that bad.

Depressingly mediocre. Completely tasteless avocado on toast with no seasoning and freezing cold. Staff did not ask if we enjoyed the food. Such a shame as you would expect Battlers Green Farm to have a decent brunch spot. Definitely not worth the £60+ we spent, we won’t be returning.

Once the food had come out everything was fine, however the attitude from the manager was very rude and the way she handled the lack of communication and confusion regarding our booking almost made us want to leave and go to another place.

Best Nando's I have been to so far and that's mainly because of the man who sat us. Overall I think Nando's employees are friendly but this guy had a smile on his face the whole time while working very hard. The food was great as well! Best piri piri chips I have had.

Wonderful meal here with lovely service. We are from the choice menu, the spelt loaf to start was a precursor of the quality to come. Next was the pig cheek which again was superb. For the main course we pushed the boat out and had the rib of Hereford beef. This seemed a bit of a gamble as I rarely enjoy a steak out, probably about 1 in 10. This steak though was perfect. Followed all this with the Panna cotta, which needless to say was super. For me the portion sizes were perfect as it allowed us to enjoy a full meal without being too full. The sides with the main were modest ( I thought this a good thing as the steak is the star) But if you do feel it is not enough then you can order an extra side. I had the Pear and Vanilla soda which was mixed by the waitress and was great (apart from when I knocked it over!, but this was tidied up very efficiently by the waitress). Overall this was up there with the very best meals I've had. Will definitely return when we are next in the area.

The pasta and chicken parmigiana were average and can be improved. The baked potatoes were terrible. Overall good service and atmosphere but don’t expect delicious food.

Very unpleasant experience Service was really unwelcome and very unhappy. Food not really at the level aspected for a place of that level. To be noticed that also the table behind us was really unhappy with the service and made it clear to the server. It’s a shame as the place has a very good potential. Definitely not coming back or suggesting it to friends

Ben L give us excellent service. Had lots of charisma like a normal person without that fake customer service tone that you get in some places. Really genuine customer service, really helpful. Nothing was too much
