The best restaurants in Mossend and Holytown North Lanarkshire Glasgow and Surrounding

Called in for a couple while we waited to check-in to our digs up the road. Walking passed you'd think it was derelict. Inside is a nostalgic nod to the past. A local boozer untouched by modernity. We were welcomed warmly and served a decent price at 1990's prices. Wasn't expecting it to be a Rangers pub considering it is in what we thought was Motherwell. Don't be scared if you are passing give it a whirl.

Food is excellent, everything we had was great! The best ribs ive ever had from a chinese. A little bit more expensive than others but the quality is worth it 👍🏻 delivered quick from their website as well.

We had a great night at Alhambra Cafe mossend Bellshill on 4th January 2025 26 of us there for a friends surprise 70th birthday meal The place is spotless The staff were amazing well organized and nothing was too much for them The food was well cooked and piping hot Everyone got what they ordered A very enjoyable meal thoroughly recommend it Well done Alhambra! Recently ordered from the buffet menu, which was delivered to our wedding reception venue. It was to cater 150 people and there was plenty of food, couldn’t fault it. Arrived ok. Pizzas and pakora really good. Great value for money. Staff very friendly and helped us decide what was best to order so we weren’t ordering too much. Only need 48hr advance notice. Would highly recommend and use again.

Shop is dated but appeared very clean. Service very friendly. Got the chicken kung po. The chicken was cooked perfectly and very good quality. Plenty of veg and cashews. So why only a 4? Well I would give the place a 4.5 but that is not possible. The half mark off as I got chicken skewers in satay sauce - the satay sauce was unique and not in a particularly good way. Highly recommend the Kung po but would give the satay a miss.

Could not go as hotel closed & I was not advised!! I could not get booked anywhere late notice!!! So I missed a family party, very poor communication

Never had worse value for money in my life. Sirloin was not worth £29 I feel violated for paying that. Pub grub at best. Chips were greasy. No beers on draft. Smoke coming out of the kitchen so was half blinded. Never like leaving a negative review but please folks do not waste your money, go to aldi and get a steak for a fiver and let your 5 year old cook it.

Fantastic takeaway. Enjoyed every curry we have tried. Patia is the best!
