Unfortunately, we had to wait for our food for nearly an hour I ordered a starter and took more than half an hour to serve the atmosphere is amazing but unfortunately the waitress who served us wasn't very friendly I'm a bit disappointed with the waiting time for food and waitress

I have always loved ‘Love Thy Burger,’ but unfortunately, I have to leave a poor review for the Colchester branch. We ordered our food, and they missed a burger as well as served us regular fries, even though we ordered and paid for rosemary fries, which cost more. We received our three burgers and the wrong fries, and they apologies when they realised they had missed a burger. We waited 15 minutes and had to go up and ask for our food. They then offered a refund but did not serve the missing burger. Obviously, that wasn’t good enough, so we had to argue for a refund for the last burger and get our last burger. On top of that, our burgers were cold. My theory is that there is too much for them to handle with takeout, and they prioritize takeout over seated customers.

Great bar layout and atmosphere. Rukia was also extremely helpful, suggesting drinks & generally bringing good vibes!

Love this place, foods fab, as a veggie/vegan great to have so ,Many options. Took a non veggie and they also loved the food. Atmospheric and fun place to eat and chill. Owners are so passionate about the place and it shows in the way every thing is done.Love the place would recommend to all . Also well priced and not over the top costs .

The lady behind the counter that serves she smokes all day doesn’t wash her hands and her nails are absolutely filthy put me right off

Great time here, ordered a steak and a guy called Tom (skinny, Tall and receding) cooked it for me. I asked to speak to him as my burger was perfection. That’s right ordered a steak and got a burger. But it was delish. Would highly recommend this place, but ring and make sure Tom is working first of all👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The place smelt like eggs / drains so we left before we ate. They still charged for the drinks before we left. Couldn’t comment on food etc, we never got that far.

Service is shocking. Server was too busy on his phone to take our order and then they took forever to bring our food, with people who ordered after us being served before us. I think they simply forgot about us. The food, when eventually served, was nice.

Good size portions. Bit quiet when we went on a Friday lunchtime.

This place is such a lovely place to eat. the food is fantastic and the staff are brilliant.they make you most welcome and they work very hard. it is such a shame you are closing your doors for good you will be very missed. Irene and Jack Whittle.

I have a food intolerance and the staff were very helpful. Shelby did her best to assist me. My husband loved the fish and chips. We didn't wait for long and want to compliment the chef John for serving tasty food. All the staff were courteous and professional.
