Best burger I have had in a long time and the service was great too

Esperábamos más y estábamos muy decepcionados desde que vinimos aquí en nuestro último día de visita a Brighton. Pedí la hamburguesa de queso con tocino y quesos Mac 'n' fritos con un baño de búfalo que nuestro camarero recomendó. Por supuesto que liaron el pedido e hicieron la hamburguesa con pepinillos, que yo por ahí y los dejé en la bandeja (visible en las fotos que añadí a esta reseña). También el baño de búfalo que nos recomendaron fue HORRIBLE. Absolutamente el peor tipo de salsa que hemos probado, es extrañamente picante también. Me encanta la comida picante, pero eso fue asqueroso. Permítanme también mencionar que los llamados quesos Mac 'n' también son una estafa y apenas se puede probar los quesos Mac 'n' que se sienten dentro de esos bolsillos fritos. Así que los platos bothh fueron un desastre y pagamos £ 23. 40 por solo lo que se puede ver en el plato. Realmente no vale la pena la lucha y el dinero para visitar este lugar. Por supuesto que añadieron un mendatory 12. 5% de cargo por servicio en la factura también. Encuentro esto completamente ridículo e indignante ya que te dejan un cargo extra por un servicio horrible y comida. Ahórrate un dolor de cabeza y visita un restaurante diferente como por ejemplo "Bill's Brighton Restaurant", que es mucho mejor y vale la pena visitar.

They don't mind you staying to work on laptop. Place can get busy but somehow doesn't feel too loud!

Awesome bar with amazing decor & great range of drinks- all of the staff are absolute legends, the food is incredible & the Rock n Roll Bingo is a great laugh! Highly recommended!

Great spread on for my dad's wake

Great small plates & burgers, but the steaks are the star of the show, with a great selection of tasty sauces to choose from. I also highly recommend the charcoal mushrooms as a side. If you're in early (before 6:30pm I believe) the early bird deal is great value. Oh, and they have a selection of 'not the usual suspects" cocktails that are fun. Jan 2025 - back again, had the Chateaubriand and it was excellent!

Staff are extremely friendly. All the drinks and cocktails are beautifully prepared and top quality. The atmosphere is relaxed though stylish.

Totally packed full of drunk people at 5pm. No seats. Walked in then walked out.

The greatest pub in the world in my opinion. An incredibly biased review, because I love the place, but for good reason. The food is excellent, it’s rare to find quality Mexican food in England, let alone in a pub. The selection of beers is always superb, from Dutch and Belgian well renowned beers like Vedett and Duvel to equally exceptional beverages from local breweries like Phipps NBC, or just a Red Stripe if you fancy. Every day they have something different to offer, be it half price Tacos every Tuesday, retro video games on a Wednesday, live bands from around the country Friday & Saturday or the prestigious Garibaldi Pub Quiz hosted every week on a Thursday.

On a recent pub crawl around the town on a freezing 3c Saturday, every pub we visited had a roaring fire and nice warm atmosphere apart from the Sussex Arms ! Freezing cold, no fires ? No people, hence no atmosphere!! When we enquired why the fires were not lit the barmaid replied " Someone forgot to order the wood" well this is simply not good enough, we noticed several tables reserved for evening meals, well I'm sure they weren't impressed either, Sack whoever is responsible, I would !!!

Shocking service and attitude of all the staff. Went for a family celebration on Saturday 11 January and hoping for a meal which we knew finished at 5.00pm. Tried to order our food at 4.30pm and were told that we couldn’t order with no explanation. On complaint we received a load of verbal abuse from staff and were threatened with being thrown out. Totally awful experience for the family.

Excellent steak here, just wish the pub was a bit bigger to make more space for local drinkers.

We have come from the Netherlands and I have seen great reviews about this place so had to try! I can say it was one of the best burger restaurants we have been to. The service was great, the portion sizes were great! We decided to share a few bits so we could a taste of different dishes and even so, that was more than enough for 2 people. The burger (fatty Freddy) had so much flavour, was juicy, would definitely recommend. We had loaded fries, these were some of the loaded qua toppings, it had a lot of flavour! We also tried beef Niknaks, these were great with favour! The only thing that could have been improved was a little more crispy, some pieces of beef were a little tougher and it was a little more soggy feel, a little more crisp would have been perfect, but I would still recommend. Additionally we had sauce. The cheese warm sauce is a must, that just goes with everything! I would also recommend the OG burger sauce, these two sauces were amazing with the burger and under ideal dishes! Location is great, plenty of choice for parking, we went during the day, it was calm and the interior was relaxing like a pub theme with tv’s on the wall, so great for football or sports. Overall, pretty impressed with this place and would recommend to other and come back when we are taking a trip to the uk again! It
