Great food and a warm welcome. Brilliant choice on the menu or breakfast sandwiches were excellent.

Amazing bar where you need a password to enter! Great drinks and pretty good food. Service was perfect!

Was met with a very frosty (not even greeting) from the person serving. Told to sit anywhere. The place was cool and quirky..... but a discretionary service charge was added. When I asked to pay less (as the service wasn't warm nor welcoming) the same person snatched the receipt from my hand. Cocktails were decent. Atmosphere was cool. Service was lacking. Won't return and based on my experience, can't recommend.

Visited here for my birthday and was very impressed with food and service. Our server was Rabbi and he was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. My partner tried one of the hot dogs for the first time and was very pleased with his choice, he thought this was excellent. Food was served quickly. Meals are a bit on the pricey side (burger and curly fries was £16.50 and desserts £7) but it was all very good quality.

Lovely pub and nice decor but the food is massively over priced for what it is. The food was disappointing and didn’t taste very good. Overall disappointing won’t be back.

Holy crap turn that music down - it was crazy today - I want to eat in peace not listen to the junk you play at high volume. I have no issue with loud music (....I mean I listen to death metal FFS....) but a public eating space just ain't the right place for it.

I think we must have shares in Hickory's. We champion Hickory's to everyone who loves meat. they also do Vegan which is not to bad. The sharing platter is to die for and is well worth the money, could share between 3/4 tbh. The breakfast stack is a better version of a sausage / egg muffin, however the tater tots with the dust is sublime. Been with friends and family and never had a bad word, always "that's the ... best ever" Great team.

Food ok Service not ok As a local person I will not be returning

Was looking to trying the sister restaurant of The Smokehouse. Booked a table for 2 at 7pm. There was no one in at all. Food was ok. Cheese burger I had, had no real taste and the burger was too crispy. Partner had the vegetable skewer and the mushrooms were overcooked. Chips were bang on. I’d like to come back to sample a big piece of meat and a beer. (Dry January in progress) The drinks list was extensive. Really friendly staff. Service was great. Really looked after. Good vibes inside. Again, want to go back to see if it was a one off. Out of town, but easy to find and plenty of parking.

The cocktail selection used to be much better and cheaper in the past. Now it’s just 6 choices for a more expensive price. I used to come here regularly, but it’s not worth anymore.
