Waiters know their steak, but not sure the food is quite at the price. Portion sizes not incredible.

This is a racist place. I went for lunch on a weekday, and all the Asians were in the inner seats (a place with no windows and not visible from the outside) rather than the main hall. Just in case, I came alone and was shown to a seat inside, so when I said I wanted to eat in the hall, I was shown to a corner seat. (There was not a single person in the main hall, and there were plenty of seats left.) After that, Asians who came in were also shown to seats inside. A few minutes later, Westerners came in and were ushered straight into the hall^^. It was my first time experiencing racial discrimination since I came to England, so I was very uncomfortable. If you want to eat Honest Burger, go somewhere else. (The employees seemed to be smiling and friendly, but their actions were not so, so I was very disappointed.)

Lunch Friendly Staff Tomato Soup was the Best iv ever had in Life Really Nice always has been consistent.

Fantastic steak, great atmosphere and lovely service. Our waiter looked after our party very well, bringing a high chair for our 5 month old. However, having been provided a high chair, we were surprised that there were no baby changing facilities.

Abit loud with hen party upstairs at 1pm

50% off burgers in January, what's not to like about it. Went for the Awesome HQ and a sharer portion of the bacon bacon fries ( more than enough for 2 people). Seated, served and fed in no time too. Definitely worth a visit!

Arriving at 12 p.m., we were only served after 50 minutes, the restaurant being empty which seemed strange. 3 dishes were missing and the fries were messed up.

Dude got my order wrong and pretended to fix it.

.. 1 word - Terrible. I booked for 15 people... They put us on 3 tiny tables that we had to squish on... but when we went to the toilets there was a huge table not in use so not sure why were squished into a small space. 90% of staff had awful attitude, didn't want to be there, with faces on - not a smile in sight apart from the two ladies at head of house who were lovely. I wish I had never booked, never again. Food was overpriced, weatherspoons standard... I'd go as far as saying weatherspoons standards are better ... and far more friendly staff quite frankly. Drinks are absolute rip off - so many better places to go in the city, I will not be coming back and would not recommend this venue to anyone.

We have been customers of Maranto's for nearly 30years. We had a bad experience last time we went but thought maybe it's a one off so went again for a birthday celebration. Unfortunately,the food was not great again, smaller portions for starters, and bland soup. Some of the meals were tepid and pasta dish also quite bland compared to what it use to be. Service was quite quick and efficient but sadly we won't be returning.

Here for Christmas Dinner and food and service was top draw! We was all very happy.
