No vayas aquí esperando un lujo alrededor o mimos, es, como indica la dirección, casi en un lote de construcción. Pero es un lugar para venerar la comida. Cada uno de los nueve cursos era una maravillosa combinación de artesanía e imaginación. : Los ingredientes magníficamente juntos por lo que cada plato fue una revelación. Our team of 12 from a Bermondsey Street business came to Tower Tandoori for dinner at 7 PM on a Wednesday, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for winding down after work, and the service was absolutely top-notch. Siam, our server, was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Everyone at the table found something they loved, and it was clear the chefs take real pride in their dishes. The restaurant’s central location is super convenient, and even the small details—like the impeccably clean toilets—didn’t go unnoticed. You can really tell that this is a family-run business where everyone cares about what they do. It’s a fantastic local spot and a real gem. Highly recommend it, whether you’re dining with colleagues, friends, or family! We’ll definitely be back.

Food was really not very good, even the rice, shocking considering the prices for each dish. Service and atmosphere was great. Shame about the food. Too expensive for substandard food.

Estaba decepcionado por la calidad de la comida que nos sirvieron. Muy promedio para precios más que promedio. El servicio tampoco estuvo a la altura. Todo el mundo era perfectamente agradable, pero no nos atendió una persona tan constantemente tratando de llamar la atención de alguien para pedir lo que necesitábamos. Decepcionante.

I found Shahi Tandoori in Grange Road completely by accident during lockdown and have been ordering takeaway ever since (and as often as once a week!) because the quality of the dishes are top notch - especially the Persian menu, the saag aloo and the papadums (that can often be so disappointingly stale and taste of cheap oil but are done here to a crispy crunchy perfection). When you phone them they are always happy to give you advice, talk you through the menu and help you experiment beyond your tried and tested favourites and the delivery guys are so friendly you feel you have become one of the family. I couldn't be more pleased to have found them and wish them all the very best in surviving this pandemic! Sofie
