Had to ask for our drinks order to be taken. Had to ask to order our food. The chicken in the curry was dry and had an after taste. The curry tasted of vinegar. The rice was crunchy. The cocktail was mainly ice. Underwhelming.

Pleasant arrival…..restaurant is in an old bank and looks fairly impressive. Was a visit for my birthday. Starter of crispy duck was below average with the duck very fatty. Not impressed. Main of Beef cashew stir fry was better and the main of crying Thai steak was disappointing and was served cold and tough. Was sent back and had to wait until they replaced it. Unfortunately my wife had finished her meal before mine arrived. The whole idea was to eat together. Service was good but once you’ve complained they tend to not ask how things are. Sorry guys but we won’t be returning.

I’d rate this place 10/10. We recently stayed at the Mayflower for a local wedding and would say it was amazing value for money! The rooms were lovely. The family room was perfect for our 2 daughters, the hotel provided a cot for our baby and a single bed for our daughter. The room was really big and had a bath and shower which was ideal. The staff were really lovely. The breakfast was incredible with gluten free options. It was in a lovely spot! We would definitely return.

A friend and I ordered food from this restaurant and I accidentally made a mistake regarding my dietary requirements. Fortunately Cash was super helpful, in rectifying the issue perfectly, apologised for the mistake and dealt with the situation quickly by ordering and serving me with my new meal. I definitely recommend for people with dietary requirements, as Cash dealt with the issue perfectly!

Been eatting at the Mahaan since I was 4/5 years old. Whole family love the restaurant even before the refit. Always been great food. Now the restaurant looks fantastic too.

Went for Christmas meal with friends after being recommended. It was OK. Food was average, service was slow and toilets weren't clean. There was something on the floor which made it incredibly slippery.

First visit since the restaurant became the ‘new rose’ decor is stunning, food delicious the presentation of the food is outstanding. It is so refreshing to see 3 ladies as part of the team. Will definitely be going back

Always fabulous food and service. I made a mistake with my previous order, completely my own fault, they rectified it with an extra delivery for the correct item, free of charge. Cannot fault the service or the food.

Food was okay nothing special very bland in taste meat was quite chewy. Our waiter could do with a smile and more customer friendly It goes along way. Manager nice
