We have visited the restaurant a couple of times over the last 2 months; once when "packed-out" over Christmas, the other on a routine mid-week evening. The food available included "the usual Indian fare" and also some great rare regional specialities. Our chosen selection was exceptionally well prepared and was delicate enough to identify each spice used in the various dishes. The waiting staff were friendly, helpful and seemed to really care about us. Both their behaviour and the high food quality were the same irrespective of how busy the establishment was. A real jem; if you are in Bournemouth or Poole, consider giving it a try. Bravo team, keep up the good work - we will be back very soon.

Puts Rosa’s Thai to shame. Got a Tofu Panang Curry and holy sh*t. I’m a big curry fan (across lots of cuisines) and this has to be the BEST curry I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Generous portion sizes, great value for money, and the women working were wonderful. TOP TIER! Thank you

The food is always incredible and the ladies who work there are always so incredibly sweet, even when they are rushed off their feet! They’re also brilliant with allergies and always are amazing with my partner who is lactose allergic (he orders a beef curry)

Came here for my Mother's Birthday meal, and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. There was plenty of space, and the food was delicious. The spice grading system was especially useful for a table that had varying preferences. The meat was cooked perfectly (something I'm admittedly fussy about), and there was a great vegetarian selection. The kulfi ice cream was amazing, as was the masala coffee, which has now become a new favourite. Very reasonable prices, too, and we'll definitely be back. Thank you!

We had a great evening here last night. The staff were excellent. Friendly welcoming and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were all absolutely delicious. We went for the tapas approach and everything we chose was gorgeous. The pollack masaman curry was great. The staff had clearly put thought into the order in which they delivered our dishes starting with the delicate seared tuna and ending a few dishes later with the curry. It really made a significant difference and allowed us to fully appreciate each dish. Definitely recommend.

AVOID anything on the menus advised as ‘MILD’ unless you are looking for baby food. In my experience, my meal identified as ”MILD” bad NO spice at all and subsequently had no depth of flavour. It was sweet, bland and very disappointing. Definitely not worth the price as there was no skill in the cooking or expected experience of Nepal food. Sadly a jar of mild curry sauce from a supermarket has more depth of flavour than this and it feels like more effort, care and thoughtfulness was put in that jar than given to my plate of food at this restaurant today. It would be better if the menu says ‘NO SPICES’. Then at least you’d know what to expect : a bland tactless plate of food.

I have probably said everything I can in past posts but we had another visit in December and we just can’t fault anything 🤷🏻♂️ The owner Tudorel has the highest possible standards for everything and is always there to make sure. For example, my black coat was mistakenly taken off the coat stand before we left, Tudorel took it very seriously and looked at the cctv, called the person and my coat was returned, great service. If you love Thai food, this is the place ! ( sorry, forgot to mention the fantastic team who work front of house and the cooks ) See you soon, Gra and Sandy 😘
