The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

We booked this restaurant based on good reviews, but I felt misled by these reviews as the place fell sadly short. It was a cold evening and the restaurant was freezing so people kept their coats on. There is no heating! I felt for the team as it’s an old building but it was unpleasantly cold. Food was expensive (over £100 for 2 of us) and average. Duck should be presented as a quarter or a half and cut up at the table. We got a place of soggy pre-chopped duck, which we didn’t eat really. Toilets up large grubby staircase and again freezing! I was quite depressed after this meal and am not sure where the high reviews are coming from. Maybe because it’s by lots of bars! Maybe okay for a takeaway.

The prawns tasted funky and after we told the waiters. He said that it was how it supposed to be. Clearly it wasn’t, It is not our first time eating Asian food. We were not offered a replacement dish of any sort. In the end We did not eat it and after asking for a discount the waiter felt the right to get upset with us (yes, he got upset, the poor thing and we were the one being asked to pay for bad food) he refused the discount saying that he wouldn’t do it just because we didn’t like the food?!! Good job! Keep treating your customers like that.

Absolutely thrilled to find this place! The food is great; generous portions, hot and tasty. Very pleasant staff and prompt delivery. Lovely Masala paneer and outstanding nan! Will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely meal.

The food is just to good mix grill crisp lamb chicken jalferzi if am spelling the correct oh man list goes on…. The curry’s this place does never had em anywhere else ! Just try em all one by one n take ur picks

Go in here a few times a month for lunch. All food cooked to order special offers available. The food tastes good

Tuve una cena encantadora aquí por el cumpleaños de Hubbie. Comida deliciosa y camarero muy amable, servicial (con recomendaciones) y atento. NB Por casualidad fuimos un jueves por la noche cuando hacen una oferta Set Meal que en realidad incluye la mayor parte del menú

Last time I was up until this evening an avid customer. I won’t be returning. No bean sprouts in the noodles and the beef curry had a very strange taste and ended up in the bin.

Comida muy limpia, muy amable y sumamente sabrosa. Mi pareja tiene una historia de amor con los fideos y afirma que la sopa de carne con chile, pollo y fideos que comió aquí fue sublime. Comí bolas de pollo y patatas fritas, que también estaban entre las bolas de pollo más crujientes que había comido. Mi única queja es que toda mi comida se vendió por separado. Así que pagué unos 17. 50 por una comida que normalmente costaría alrededor de 8. Aparte de eso, recomendaría este lugar.

Yeah not the best , Nan was like a slice of bread, asked for chicken got lamb, very little rice, will be going back to green spice up the road

We ordered a mixed grill for the meat eater, a vegetarian main, Bombay potato, dhal and rice to be delivered. It came promptly enough. Unfortunately the lamb was tough. The vegetarian main was absent and in its place was a second portion of Bombay potato. Dhal was nice.
